Pixel 6. Only overheats while on Qi wireless charger. Last night it overheated to the point of interrupting the charge, and slowed functions on the phone. 3XL was awesome. Never any problems until it updated to Android 12. Now Google won't give us the bug fixes.

I bought one and it uses March update but I have exactly the same problem. First left side then all back side. Watching Instagram reels or YouTube shorts triggered I guess. How is your doing did you find any solution for this.Mine does. But only sometimes. Not sure what causes it.
Just casual scrolling on social media. Left side of the screen gets hot. Only the left side - where my thumb conveniently rests while swiping.

I'm indoors and it's 25°C. Brightness at 40%. I'm not charging, batt at 67%. I have good cellular and WiFi signals.

I don't know if it's the fact I have many things optimizing in the background. But phone keeps draining running warm. Currently at 37.2c which feels normal...but I saw spikes at 42cI bought one and it uses March update but I have exactly the same problem. First left side then all back side.
