Any update for how to root on Mac?

Same as topic. Haven't heard about any updates from Heimdall, are there any other solutions for rooting at this point?

i would love to know this too. spent two hrs on my moms pos 10 " gateway laptop to get nowhere. thought i was about to get root finally but apparently the odin program was too large for my screen and there was no way to scroll down to select the start option. im just so frustrated.

Parallels works but its kinda risky
If the strain of Odin in win7 on a Mac causes the comp to lag you could get screwed

Bootcamp it :good: gogogo, thats what i did, the only reason i have a windows install wasting my space on my mac for this kind of odin stuff.

Me too. I had a hard time making VMware keep a stable connection to the phone, driver install fail. Bootcamp was much easier.

Windows 8 preview is free. Maybe try that?
