Any USA people sign up for the test drive lottery?

I did. I do not expect to be selected, I never win stuff like this, but I figured it was no harm no foul since I did not have to - just to enter - do 5 stupid things on social media for a chance to be picked. You really only have to give a name and email.

But the downside to this is that this may not bode well for USA release time. If this is signing up for a trial run, and it just got posted this week, and they do not say when people will be picked, it is kind of hard to imagine they would do all of this and scramble to get the phones into people's hands for what 1-2 weeks of "testing" before a true USA launch. My point is, I think this would have been done earlier than just now IF we are still hoping for a June USA release.

IF YOU GET PICKED and are an XDA user, post up here. I'd be curious if anyone here gets in on the test drive.

The site you posted is different from what my invitation linked. Its said clearly I am selected being a loyal customer Xd. The first 276 invites who signed up will get a LG G4 WiFi which cost $325. Maybe yours is a different promotion.

You got a direct invitation sent to you? As what you show is not what is on the general public facing entry page. I suspect you have other LG products? So I bet you got an automatic invite & selection. Lucky you.

I signed up when I saw the Pocketnow posting a post about this event, but like everyone has mentioned, the chances of ACTUALLY getting selected are pretty slim. Would be sweet to be one of the chosen ones though.

This probably sounds dumb, but I honestly dunno. For those who get selected, can you actually keep the device then use it with your carrier? It seems obvious that you'd be able to keep it, but still, would be nice to be sure.

Hmm, I looked at the official rules and it says that winners have to pay for the taxes and fees for the device. Doesn't say anything about returning it, so unless I read the rules wrong, you get to keep it.

The sweepstakes entry's ended on the 11th and winners drawn on the 13th. It was in terms and conditions, which will not open for me now. But that's what I read
