Any way to activate Wi-Fi Calling if you have a rooted device?

I'm using Sunrise Switzerland on my OnePlus 5 and same problem there. I don't have network cover on my house, and Sunrise sent me a Router with WiFi Calling option, but the problem is that my Oneplus doesn't have that option. My wife has a Galaxy S8+ and she has the option... Any news about it?

I tried this and can confirm that vowifi working on three UK, VOLTE remains to be tested as i have good 1800 band coverage so calls fall back to 3g, weirdly three has enabled volte on 800 (band 20), and it won't fall on that band unless its really poor signal

Hi (please forgive any screw up - first post on this formum!)

I believe that the way Three UK operate wifi calling is that the preference is always cellular whereas EE allows you to choose your own preference. Looking to swith to EE and awaiting a new sim to test this out.

I'm using a Thre UK Home Signal box at the moment as my home coverage is poor. Trouble is that a call is established on 4g but the signal drops and the call is lost. The advice from Three is to turn off 4g on my device as the Home Signal box is only 3g. Seems to be working OK but I often forget to turn 4g back on when leaving the house!

I'll update when I test the EE sim - bet my OnePlus5 will need factory reset :(

Can I ask exactly what you did to get this working? I have a rooted nexus 6P on three and have tried the steps outlined but still can't get it to work.
Kind Regards, James

From my experience the 5 knows if you can do wifi calling. I recommend using H2OS it has the option in the settings menu under sim and network and forces wifi calling to work without using anything root.

I'm using oneplus 5t in Sunrise network, tried below rootless way to enable VoLTE and VoWifi options, however it doesn't work :(

Searched on Sunrise website there's a clear list with devices models enabled, seems like oneplus is not on that whitelist.

Please do help

Is this post dead? If not I may be able to help.
Any help is appreciated! I have a few things to try from previous posts but I like to know what other options are out there.

I just upgraded to a new Moto G Stylus from my old Moto G 5Plus only to find out I cannot use wifi calling "because it isn't a branded phone" which my other one wasn't either. I need it at work as service is not good. We have a network extender but since I'm prepaid I'm apparently not allowed to use it. I considered changing my service but they wouldn't let me port my number from prepaid to post paid.

Apparently, AT&T blocks WiFi calling and VoLTE on non AT&T branded phones so I'm in the same situation, unfortunately. The good news is I can use Google Voice to make calls over WiFi if needed.
