Any way to back up recovery?

Heya. I'm kinda new here, so a little leniency could be nice. I am wondering if there's any way to backup my LG Zone 3 without CWM, even though there isn't a CWM for it, for testing, cause last time I installed CWM on a LG Lucid 3, it broke (granted, I was being stupid since there is no LG Lucid 3 VS876 CWM). Any way possible to backup and restore my recovery would be helpful. The Zone 3 is running Android 5.1.1, kernel version 3.10.49-g74ae152 (copied from settings, no idea what it means... even though I feel I should :/). EDIT: Found an app called FlashFire, credit to ChainFire devs. It lets me back up everything, and flash zips without an unlocked bootloader. So happy!

Well, I saw you got the problem solved, but just wanted to follow up, you mentioned two phones. LG Zone and LG Lucid 3.
If you arr using and talking about the LG Lucid 3 and are rooted, you CAN install TWRP. (I actually just did it earlier and works like a champ)
