Any way to get incremental updates with Magisk Hide?

This is a question tailed for some technical people. Obviously flashing incremental updates on a rooted rom is YMMV, but for those willing to try, is there a way to Magisk Hide root from the system update app (to get incremental update instead of full ROM)?

What package do we need to hide? Anyone had any success?

Managed to run Magisk Hide on the system update app, and am now presented with the incremental updates!

Does this mean you don't have to flash magisk again after the update?

That's the idea behind this. Whether it works is another story.

Beyond my initial screenshots, I can no longer get the incremental OTA to show up

Just tried it. Didn't work for me. I got a notification after it rebooted saying it failed and to enter repair mode it something.

Just did it with the Oxygen Updater app.

Yep that's as far as I got, a similar error message. There must be some sneakier protections to prevent this kind of thing . Never heard of the Oxygen Updater but I'll check it out!
