I have the Verizon case. It is made by Incipio. Works pretty well, but I haven't figured out all of it's "four angles for viewing and one for typing" configurations.
Hey, thanks for the response. I believe the case you have is actually a different one, I'm guessing you have this case, correct?

I think the one I originally linked to is a Verizon-branded case, with no Incipio branding.

Ordered the Stilgut for mine. I bought one of the Akira Handmade ones for my other half and absolutely love the stand mechanism, but wanted something that had the MicroSD slot exposed and wasn't the same colour :highfive:

I want to give you some infos after nearly 5 months of using this case.
It still looks like new. The elastic band is still okay.
The only thing I noticed is that the ring of the back cut a circle in the back of the tablet. Look at the picture below.
But the case definitely worth to buy.

Case and Screen Protector ?

Hey guys, I just got the Gpad 8.3, a bit late to the party and I've been looking at the cases and screen protectors. I wanted to get 2 cases and one screen protector.
Why two cases? Because I like the idea of having a slim case and a thick leathery one.

So I'm kinda caught between picking 2 cases out of 4 different ones and 1 screen protector out of 2.

The slim cases:
1. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HH9ZXZ4/
2. http://www.amazon.com/IVSO-Ultra-Lightweight-Function-will-Tablet/dp/B00GSK46D8

Both are listed as sold by IVSO, same price and they look kinda the same, is there a difference to begin with? Which would you recommend?

The thick cases:
1. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DLZWCV6/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
2. http://www.amazon.com/VSTN-Multi-Stand-Leather-Cover-Holder/dp/B00EVNHQEK

From the pictures the MoKo seems to look more rigid and less flimsy like the VSTN, I'm not sure if that's the case in real life or not because most of the Chinese brands offer photoshoped pictures. Which would you recommend.

Lastly, the screen protectors.
1. http://www.amazon.com/ArmorSuit-MilitaryShield-Responsive-Replacements-compatible/dp/B00G4TVTDS
2. http://www.amazon.com/iLLumiShield-...e-Anti-Fingerprint-Replacements/dp/B00F6FJ578

At first I was leaning towards the Armor Suit seeing as they've been saying it's "military grade" and that it self heals etc. But the iLLumi offers 2 protectors not one and doesn't require you to add a liquid to the screen (I'm scared I'd damage something). I haven't had any experience with any of those brands before so I thought I'd ask you guys. Which one would you recommend ?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post :good:

My StilGut case has arrived.

Positives: well made, very sturdy, the folding mechanism gives excellent support for landscape typing, and the SD slot is accessible without removing it from the case. Magnet on/off works.

Negatives: not such a fan of having to disengage two corners to fold to landscape, and I'd prefer a 100% magnetic closure instead of the clasp.

Nope, and I don't think so there even will be a "case" like that. A low-cost ordinary keyboard case maybe, but no hq branded stuff, G Pad isn't enough popular for that.
Btw, I'm going to try the Nillkin Smart Cover from ebay for something like $11. I'm definitely not going to give 55€ for the genuine LG smart cover...

I just got the Moko case and I love it. It looks nice (I like the matte look), offers great protection and the stand is VERY sturdy. I highly recommend it.

I'm. Using the Nillkin Smart Cover on mine now and i think it's great. It is very slim - adds very little bulk and is a perfect fit. I ordered the Amzer pudding caseat the same time, just in case i wanted to use a simple gel style cover.
I havent taken the Smart Cover off. :)

I've got myself this one:
360° LEDER TASCHE FÜR LG G PAD 8.3 HD

It fits perfectly, so far very happy with it.
Pencil is dual function, soft touch tip on one end and real black pen inside...

However, still looking for a case which is equally good in landscape AND portrait orientation (e-books, of course)...

[EDIT] Damn, now I realized... it says ROTATING... I feel stupid now... got to check that functionality... [END EDIT]

I *finally* got my Nillkin case and it's great. Only a smidget heavier than the TPU Gel case (barely notice it), perfect fit, and solid. Smart case feature works just fine, and I worked a way for the stand feature not to obscure the speakers and it works great for me.

I recorded a video review but got the flu so I haven't finished it yet. Will post when I do. :)

Yes, it rotates, and as it was stated somewhere else, not very stable in portrait position.
But it will do...

Nillkin Smart Case for 8€ just arrived! Will upload the video later (slow bandwidth).
- the back feels a bit cheap and fragile, but it survived my "stress test" so it might be OK. The front cover feels great, you will need a bit more effort to bend it (to those three parts) so it can back to it straight form.
It lacks magnets (to hold the front cover in position), but for 8€ it's still a great deal.
