Amazon has a new case available. It looks nice, but is a little expensive. VOIA LG G Pad 8.3 Premium Standing Case

Thanks for the post. These are the same ones that were available from Korea on ebay. Here's more pics.

LG G Pad 8.3 VOIA Stand Case: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-G-Pad-8-...vers_Keyboard_Folios&var=&hash=item2a331b0ef8

LG G Pad 8.3 Hard Slim Case: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VOIA-LG-G-P...vers_Keyboard_Folios&var=&hash=item2a32c86805

I ordered the white Jelly and white Hard Slim cases. I'll post pics when they arrive on Thursday to see the quality and differences between the two. After I see them and feel them, I will decide whether or not to return them. I figure this way everyone has an idea before they jump the gun :).

FWIW, just got my Evecase from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GFE2C1U/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_3p_M3T1_ST1_dp_1

Very nice case. Don't know what the reviewer is complaining about on Amazon. Mine fits great, easy access to buttons and ports and does not obstruct the screen. Magnets hold cover closed and puts tablet to sleep. Feels very premium. Very good case so far, especially for the price.

Copy from my Android central post

Finally got it. Fits great and cut outs for ports, cameras, speakers and buttons align. Front and backing is sturdy, will take a fall if dropped. Stand works fine and the cover has wake lock feature. Fake leather isn't bad, smells good and does not mess with my illumishield screen protector.

I give it 5 stars for what it is. I'd still rather have a TPU back case like my iPad has. Well, my wife's iPad now lol. But this'll do, Donkey!

Those are awesome. Just hard for me to pay so much when a similar case for my old iPad was $5 lol

Yeah, I hear you, bro. That's also why I'm gonna review them to see if they're worth the money or not. If they're $5 quality, they're going back :).

DO NOT ORDER THAT ONE!! The case from Navitech came today and within ten minutes I had already printed out the return paperwork and packed it back up. The power button is halfway covered the edges bow into the viewable screen area by at least a third of an inch. the camera hole cutout is in the middle of the back instead of the corner. IT SUCKED!!!
I made the mistake of ordering that one, it's going back

I just received the VOIA Premium Standing Case that I ordered from Amazon. The fit is excellent, the color is exactly what I expected, the magnetic cover is perfect, but the standing feature seems terribly ineffective.

It is made out of some sort of textured nylon or plastic. It actually feels great in the hand. I just wish that the stand worked better.

As, promised, here are the pictures of the VOIA Hard Slim Case and the VOIA Jelly Case. I don't recommend the Hard Slim. 1) The top and bottom and almost the screen are too exposed. There isn't much of a lip to protect the screen. 2) The cutouts don't seperate the volume and power buttons. I don't like this because I tend to mix the two up when looking for them quite often. 3) Zero protection and quite slippery.

The Jelly case really is a stronger TPU than a Jelly. I was quite surprised. When you put it on the LG G Pad, it hugs it perfectly and feels like a hard case. The grip is obviously way better and it feels more premium. It also has a lip that protects the screen if laid flat. It also seperates the volume and power buttons nicely. There is enough of a bevel to not accidentally hit them either, which I really appreciate. Also, the speaker cutouts are a little wider, which is good. The cutouts are all perfect. Hands down, I recommend you guys get the Jelly case. It's way nicer, feels more solid, and maintains the slim factor. I'm very happy with it. It doesn't add much weight either.

Is the Jelly/TPU worth the $20 ?

Yes, I think it is. I usually am very careful with my products and don't want them to get dirty or scratched. With this TPU, I don't feel that anymore. It's quite protective and feels very good. Also, comes in many nice colors. I have white so I obviously got white. The other colors look solid though. I'm kind of tempted to get something cooler looking, lol.

I have a friend who has bought lg gpad and looking for a case now. I am wondering if the VOIA premium case is stable enough to hold it together when using it as there is no lip surrounding the edges to keep it in place. Could you tell me if the case feels stable enough when holding it with one hand?

The G Pad is very secure in the VOIA Premium Standing Case. There is enough of a lip so that it is clipped in and will NOT be falling out.

I love the overall feel...soft nylon would be the best description. The method in which the cover folds into a stand is my only gripe.
