Anybody found a good case?

I just received the VOIA Premium Standing Case that I ordered from Amazon. The fit is excellent, the color is exactly what I expected, the magnetic cover is perfect, but the standing feature seems terribly ineffective.

It is made out of some sort of textured nylon or plastic. It actually feels great in the hand. I just wish that the stand worked better.

The standing feature of this case consists of just folding a small portion of the front cover. There are no grooves or slots in the back, which leaves only one viable standing position. The G Pad needs to be in a fairly vertical orientation, or it wants to flop onto it's back.

This will work fine at home, but not on an airplane. I attached a photo earlier, but here it is again.

Could that also mean that the pad/cover could unfold if the surface under it was a bit slippery? From your photo and as you said, there's nothing holding it, it looks as if it is not really stable.

Stability is certainly the issue when standing. There are photos of this case on Ebay in other standing positions that just are not realistic. I could also take photos in those positions, but the pad would be doing a balancing act

VOIA Premium Standing Case seems to be a pain, much like the genuine Samsung Note 8 cases - they never stand or balance properly. I think I am going for the IVSO Slim Smart Cover Case for LG G PAD 8.3 Edition Tablet. I'd order off of Amazon but it seems they don't ship to Canada on the UK/DE/USA site, so I will have to chance it with the Aliexpress guy as that is the case I really want (photo below). I'm concerned because of his shipping delay and delivery standard listed though. Seems really long.

Yeah seems to be from another 7 inch tablet he sells cases for. Worst case scenario it's free if it isn't similar. I'll update with photos when it arrives.

DO NOT order this one. It is for a 7 incher. Just got it today. Time to file a complaint. Unbelievable!


He tried saying I had to mail it back at my expense because there are two g pad versions. I called him a liar and said he is blatantly misrepresenting his item. After some harsh words and threats of reporting him he refunded me. What a drag. Now to wait again for my third attempt at getting a case.

Thank you for your great feedbacks! I have bought the soft jelly black case by VOIA, now I only have to wait for it to hit Italy! It will be a long way to Tipperary, my friends, expecially due to custom checks!

I'm glad I found this thread! I just ordered a G Pad so I'm looking at getting a case for it too. I saw this one on Amazon and was wondering what everyone thought?

I kinda like that it's not clicked into place but rather held on with straps. Kinda has a vintage feel about it...
Only thing I don't like is the stand which seems to have only one position and is kinda low.
