Anybody found a good case?

Awesome man! Thanks for the pics! The fit looks pretty good to me but I just have a couple of questions:

1. Does the top and bottom of the device protrude out a little at all? Or are they still well within the case and not noticeable? I'm not worried about protection here but more aesthetics.
2. Also, do you think the metal clasps holding the device in place will damage the screen?
3. What do you mean the inside is not soft? What effect does a soft inside have? As in, will it scratch the screen or something?

Yeah, I know it won't scratch the screen since it's gorilla glass...but I sort of feel like microfiber would do the job better. Something like my old Speck Fitfolio for the Nexus 7. I got spoiled by that case. This was the closest thing to it.

Thankfully the speakers aren't blocked, only the rear camera. Wasn't planning on using that though, no biggie.

I don't know if that site is accurate, since nobody else (including LG) says that it's Gorilla Glass. I don't know where that site could have gotten the information.

Just a heads up if anyone is wanting the VOIA Jelly Case in black that was sold out on amazon. It is in stock from another seller ends up being about 1.50 more than amazons price, but at least its in stock. Says only 19 left though

Thanks. They actually have both the Jelly and Standing case. I ordered both. Already have the IVSO case coming, but not expected till after Christmas. In any case, I'll have a few cases to compare.

Did anyone buy the voia hard case from eBay? I'm contemplating it but $25 seems steep for what it is.

If anyone has it can you confirm if the case still fits without coming off when you stack 2 credit cards inside ontop of each other? I'm asking so I know if I can fit my qi wireless charging pad in there for the mod I did.

Thanks man. Unfortunately, I just tried to order one and it turns out standard shipping costs almost $50 to Switzerland!!! Can't believe it. Don't know why it costs this much but I don't really think this case is worth $90...

You have to specify that you want a LIME green one when you're checking out. I ordered mine and they still had some in stock. The price is $20 more than Amazon but you get free shipping. Depending on where you live, that might be more or less expensive. In my case, it's a lot cheaper than Amazon which charges almost $50 for standard shipping.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see that you specified Jelly. Maybe they have those too?

I asked on french lg blog, the answer was clear : no gorilla glass. They didn't give any more details

"gorilla glass" is just a brand name.
It doesn't mean anything else except that it comes from the US company Corning Inc.
I wouldn't worry about LG choosing for a different manufacturer that uses another brand name.
It's just a name, nothing else.

It says almost a month to ship, so it'll be a while before I have it in my hands. I also emailed Poetic and asked if they might be considering releasing a SlimLine for the G Pad. I'll let you know what i hear, if anything. If they did release one, that would be perfect IMO as I love the one I have for my Nook HD+.

I'm not experienced with Aliexpress (is anyone?) so I'll wait for them to pop up on eBay before grabbing something like it, or the IVSO smart-ish case listed two posts up, a version of which is available to Canada (FINALLY) from Asuxtek:

I ordered an IVSO case from them, but I haven't received it yet. They look legit to me.

Those cases are cheap. I'm not crazy about the choice of colors, though.
