I really enjoy the froyo update and all, but I was a little disappointed by the slow speed of web browsing (and basically the phone itself, though not sure if related)... I uninstalled flash, and the phone is lightning fast now.. browsing, Froyo interface, everythng... its ridiculous how much flash slows it down. Is there a way to disable flash completely until you need it?

For now, I'm going with uninstalled until I need it, then a temp install till I'm done using it.

You can install it and have it active on demand. Is under settings in the browser.

Browser > more > settings > enable plug-ins > and than set it for "On Demand"

So everytime u need flash just press the arrow that appears instead of the flash thing and it will activate it. Once u. close the browser the flash is disabled. It doesn't slow down the phone at all.

This is the solution and I wish it was default install but its not too difficult to find. There is no way I'm un-installing flash.
