Yep it is the one I use and it is working very well. No warp charge though

Yup.. I also got this one with me... Good one.. Not sure whether warp change will work with this.. Never tried that.

So I ordered this based on your recommendation but I can seem see get it to work with my OP7P. I tried it in my macbook pro and the dongle itself seems to working fine but the phone does not detect it. Are there any special set of setting that I need to do to make sure the phone see it?

Recovery: TWRP 3.3.1-4
No additional kernels and a few Magsik modules added, see attached image.

I didnt do anything other than make sure the plug was pushed in all the way to the adapter then it shows as charging. By the way, its starting to fall apart on me already so not the best quality but didnt expect it to be.

Will the adapter play audio only if it is being powered externally? And by that I mean the male USB-C port.

Why can't a manufacturer figure out that warp charging is one of the main selling points of the OP7 Pro and the whole reason it doesn't have stuff like wireless charging, because it's all about fast fast fast charging? They would make a freaking fortune on a warp charging capable usb-c/3.5mm combo adapter.

Because the real reason there is no wireless charging is the same reason there is no 3.5mm jack. It is corner cutting and you can not cut corners correctly if you actually replicate the function in a new way. Then you would be creating something new and no longer cutting corners thus defeating the purpose of cutting the corner in the first place. lol
