I've rooted with Magisk, have Magisk Hide props, tried prop editor and it won't save the edit, tried VPN hotspot app and it just freezes up without working. Please help. My kids are driving me nuts without "daddy's wifi"

VPN hotspot works great for me. You have to turn off hardware acceleration in developer options and use a VPN as well for it to work though.I've rooted with Magisk, have Magisk Hide props, tried prop editor and it won't save the edit, tried VPN hotspot app and it just freezes up without working. I haven't tried it yet, but why doesn't it work? The option is there in settings. These are some of the reasons I had to get rid of the pixel 6 can't even screen cast on the things either lol
I've screen casted many times. Mine works fine. These are some of the reasons I had to get rid of the pixel 6 can't even screen cast on the things either lol
I haven't had any issues with Screencast. Seems most other people haven't either. Maybe it was your device specific? These are some of the reasons I had to get rid of the pixel 6 can't even screen cast on the things either lol
They're probably talking about the fact Google only allows Chromecast, not Miracast.I haven't tried it yet, but why doesn't it work? The option is there in settings.

"Big Bad Red" OG UDP
I'm on Verizon and I use this module with zero issues. https://github.com/evdenis/tether_unblock/releases
Let us know if you try the solution @zetsumeikuro suggested. Good luck!
No, it depends on the carrier and the plan that you're on. In his case and my case, we're on the old unlimited data plan on Verizon. You have to pay a separate fee to utilize tethering. The old unlimited data plan doesn't get deprioritized like Verizon's current offerings that include tethering at full speed for X gigs and then it gets throttled.
Does this module require vpn and vpn tethering?I'm on Verizon and I use this module with zero issues. https://github.com/evdenis/tether_unblock/releases
On Verizon's new 5g plans, you no longer get deprioritized on their highest cost plan... so it's similar to the OG UDP.No, it depends on the carrier and the plan that you're on. I just tried this and it seems to work so far. Thanks. The connection seems a bit slower than what I'm used to but I'll keep testing.I'm on Verizon and I use this module with zero issues. https://github.com/evdenis/tether_unblock/releases
Nope.
Yeah, I saw that, but I failed to mention that I get a discount on my plan through my employer. So it's a nice hefty 30%~ off per month and new plans are not eligible for employer discounts. On Verizon's new 5g plans, you no longer get deprioritized on their highest cost plan... so it's similar to the OG UDP.

Strange, the speeds seem fine to me when I'm tethering from my phone. With ****ty signal and only 4G I'm getting like 40-50 Down and 2-5 Up.I just tried this and it seems to work so far. Thanks. The connection seems a bit slower than what I'm used to but I'll keep testing.

It does work for me. And speed is fineSometimes your VPN turns on and off. Your VPN app also might have an option of a kill switch when your VPN is not active. This will make sure you don't use hotspot data with your VPN turned off when the kill switch is activated. That way the ISP can't tell if you are using hotspot data.
