I'm just curious to know if anyone has found an external battery case that allows access to the SPen? All the ones I've seen have the SPen covered up.

Please understand too that I am NOT asking about a back plate or case for an extended battery. I'm talking about a case that has a built in battery like in the following link, except that it has access to the SPen.

Anker 6440 product page on Amazon clearly shows an accessible S Pen slot.

Can't post a link here, but search Amazon for "[NFC/Google Wallet Capable] Anker® 6440mAh Extended Battery for Samsung Galaxy Note 4"

I have one on order.

Thanks, but as I specifically said, I am NOT asking about an EXTENDED battery back or case. I'm asking about a battery case like in my link. An EXTERNAL battery case. They're cases with a built in battery. You plug your phone + stock battery into the case. It's like an external battery charger, except it's a case that fits on the phone.

I was looking te same thing while ago. Now I have 2 spare anker batteries Few seconds swap. No problem with s-pen. Very good protection with my Spigen case. And its lighter and not that bulky. This external battery is good for Note 5. But imho spare batteries are better solution for note 4.

No, that's an extended battery with a case. I'm looking for an "external battery case." It's like a portable charger, except that you clip your phone into it. You never have to swap out the OEM battery.
Please look at the link in my original post. It's what I'm looking for, except none of the ones I'm finding have a way to remove the SPen.

The reason why I'm not wanting an extended battery is because I don't want a fat, heavy phone. I want my phone to stay thin and light, but when my battery gets low, I would like to temporarily plug it into the battery case. But, I need access to the SPen since I require it for work.

That style is mainly used for iPhone users, though I did see them for my Note 2. They still increased the size and weight of your phone.

Portable usb battery packs are more convenient. You could get a separate aftermarket SPen.

I am currently using an external battery. It works, but it's annoying to have it connected via cable. I'm getting into the habit of charging while on my lunch break and may invest in a charger that supports fast charge.

I like the external battery cases as well. Used Senegal with my nexus 5. Haven't found 1 for the note 4 yet.
