Anyone got the iPhone headphones to work with the SGN2?

I absolutely hate the ones in the box. Please advise.

The ear buds works fine, but the mic does not.

I believe the note 2 has an anti hipster file and will not work with those ear buds.

Apple earbuds

As far as I know, apple earbuds (with the microphone) are purposely designed to work only with Apple products. They are better able to control the third party accessory market that way. I did find this, but I have no idea if it works or not:

I got the in ear apple headohones and they only work tobpause and play music. Cant anwser or change tracks or speak while on a ohone call.
