Reason I ask is because when I got my bell sensation at&t told me I could get the 10 dollar unlimited plan, but whennthey added it to my plan,my internet didn't work anymore. I had to add the 2gb 4g data plan back

If you are talking about the media net
plan, yes i'm on it and using it with no issues on bell sensation z710a.
I'm on the $15 unlimited plan since I have not added unlimited messing.

And you get 3g?

Yes I get 3g, hspa+ speeds with no issues. In Seattle I get average download speeds arnd 2MBps since att network is not great where I stay. But I have hit around 5Mbps in Chicago airport while traveling.

If you want there is a thread in sgs2 forums about people's experience on media net plans and their speeds. For me I didn't see any speed difference between the media net plan and the att 4g plan speeds. So i'm happily using the one which costs less and get unlimited data in the process :)

I don't think they will...may be monitor and stay below 5 GB just to be safe :) .... I mostly use wifi at home and work so don't use that much data.

Just found this thread. It's helpful in my search.

FWIW, I USB tethered my Nokia 6700 Classic (which I didn't even know was capable of HSDPA until it launched). Signal used to be really good for it, but it started dropping like crazy. Thought it was the device, so I replaced it with another... same signal issues.

Anyway, I think I'm the reason why the signal is all crappy. In April, 2011, I did 800GB of data on my $20 Media Max unlimited data plan. AT&T never caught me. Until that month, I was doing between 10GB and 30GB each month.

Now, I'm looking for an affordable smartphone that is very much NON-AT&T so that I can continue to bend the rules and keep getting high speed internet.
