Hello sir Can I get F.21 boot
vendor boot
dtbo
there're no FULL package out there for Global variant
Just only incremental update
How can I get that Full Image?
Or Should I extract it from India Variant Full Image F.21
will It work normally?
You can't use Indian boot.img on Global. You have to use your firmware boot. Currently, only F.17 is the latest full zip. However, you can just update through OTA to F.21 and then use MSM tool readback feature to dump the boot.img. That is the safest and easiest way.

MSM tool is very handy for OnePlus phones. It's used to revert your phone back to working condtion (to OOS11) from almost any state. Keep in mind that you have to use correct one for your model/variant. I have explained how to use/downloada few post before.

Sure. Stock unrooted F.20 boot.img attached. Make sure to unzip it.

By the way, if you have MSM tool, you can get your current boot.img from its readback feature. Super simple. Launch MSM tool. Press F8. Select the desired boot image (boot_a or boot_b). Enter the password as: oneplus. Click read. Power off phone, and get it into EDL mode by pressing holding vol- vol+ buttons then connecting data cable from PC. The desired boot.img will be dumped in C: drive.

Also, F.21 has just been released, so you better update to that. I haven't yet as I am currently on crDroid.

Anyway, F.20 boot has been attached.
So I used your stock F.20 boot image to update to F20 using the command fastboot boot stockbootf20.img. My device gets stuck on the fastboot mode logo screen. I can get out of it by restarting the device.

What? Why you used F.20 boot.img to update phone? This is NOT for update. This is only if you are already on F.20 and you want to root your phone with Magisk. You have to provide Magisk your F.20 boot.img and it will patch it, then you can fastboot boot that patched boot.img and get root that way.

To update your phone, you just have to update from your system settings.

Yeah you are right. I attempted to download a different variant of oxygen os (EU version) full rom but that fails before it even begins. I do not want to reset my phone at this point in time so I guess I have to wait for the full oxygen os F18.

There is no full F.18, and it won't ever come in my opinion.

What is your phone variant? LE2110 or LE2113 or LE2115 or what? And what is your current firmware?

I am on LE2115 and my current firmware is F18. I want to switch over to the EU variant because I see that it has a lot more support on oxygen updater
Hmmm. Have you tried downloading the latest full zip for EU from Oxygen Updater app?

P.S. LE2115 get good support too, doesn't it? I mean there is a new update almost every month with the latest security patch.

Yes I did. But when I try to install it, the installation fails right away. And yes, LE2115 does recieve updates but not Full updates (only ota updates; like you said, probably wont get a full F18).

Do I need to do any prerequisites before I attempt to install the full zip for EU? And is there a way to force the update?

I think in the zip file, there is a file payload_properties.txt or something like that. In there, there is a property like verification_disable. Set it to 1 and it will skip the verification and force it.

I haven't tried this, and it might end up bricking, so you may lose your data. Therefore, backup your data and be prepared for the worst. Also, sometimes the OTA updates bring some minor bugs, and factory reset fixes that. In this case, jumping to a different variant firmware has bigger chances of bugs and hence the compulsion of a factory reset even in the case of sucess. So keep that in mind as well.

I tried that before your message and it didn't work. I eventually ended up using msm and followed your procedure. Thanks!
