Anyone have trouble where Gmail replies begin?

Everytime I reply to a Gmail in the app, I get my cursor beginning after my signature, not atop. I've never seen that behavior before this phone.

I forgot to install my signature until a few hours ago. Tried my first reply just before reading your post and the same thing happened to me.

Any chance you can tell us the version of Gmail you are on? I'm on 6.8.430968407
Verizon note 7 latest firmware using SwiftKey latest build 6.4.1.4.9

It's not phone specific. Gmail bug from yesterday's app update. The Gmail dev team is working on it now.

Your right. It has to be an app bug because I wasn't experiencing this issue when I first got my Note 7!

Google acknowledged this on their Gmail app support forum two days ago. It's how I realized it wasn't the note. So, signature error is Gmail. When my phone explodes when I reply, thaaaaaaats a note issue.
