1090€ over here and every time I see that number I remember how solid my nexus 6p is working...Second thoughts.... sure it is going to cost me $1300 with the taxes.
I think twice about spending that much cash.

I'm tired of the throttling as well.... There's a thermal mod on XDA that helps a great deal. It also enables faster charging. My 6p is much better but still throttles and lags. It was really bad over the summer time.Nope......tired of the throttling of the 6P and I still want to be on Project Fi. Did the device financing and will get a couple months worth of payments towards the Pixel XL from selling my 6P with a lot of accessories.
Samsung Pay has worked flawlessly for me, I use it almost everyday and most days multiple times. Grocery stores, WaWa's, gas stations, only place it didn't work is in a small waffles and ice cream store called Nina's. Great waffles but they use one of those attachments to an iPad and it didn't recognize the card.
I have not used the phone overseas only in the US but with terminals that take the chip I have had no problems. How does Samsung pay work with chip and pin cards as in the U.K. We rarely use swipe part of the card. Everything is chip and pin.
Just curious
This is so dumb. The limited time that I had my Note 7, i loved this! It was so clear! This has me partially thinking about canceling for the V20 as well. Does anyone know if AT&T is doing any promos for the V20?No HD Voice for the Pixel on AT&T is a big drawback for me. Just found out that AT&T won't activate that feature for off-carrier phones.
Ask to see the "Unlock Bootloader" screen in settings. If it's greyed out... it's Verizon.I wonder how one is supposed to differentiate a Verizon model from a google store model on Swappa

In the US, most terminals that accept chip also accept tap and pay, so that would be the fallback if swipe was ever disallowed.
In the US, the swipe method is still universally allowed, which is different than Europe in general. Chip use is provided as an alternative/convenience right now - but not required.
