Specifically HK edition? What S/W version it currently updated to? When was latest update received and what version?
I 'm trying to choose between G710EAW and G710N, second has most current software but hard to buy and more expensive

I too am looking for answer on the G710EAW which is selling $629 now, wanted to know if it will work fully on At&t. Sigh

security patch July 1, Android 8.0.0 version v10D-HKG-XX,

Sad. So if I understand correctly it still has not been updated to latest Korean patch which enables 60fps in UHD? And improves camera quality in low light?
The slow updates queue for non-Korean variants on V20 is what bugged me to the point I either will buy Korean G7 or switch to some another vendor like Samsung or Huawei
LG, thinque about the queue

I have it aswell with 60fps UHD. I think it updated one or two weeks ago. I'm very very happy with it.

Sorry, what are you talking about? What is sad for you? What security level do you expect on 2nd August? The phone is on 1st July security level.
Ridiculous, just ridiculous.

I currently get only 3g speeds, but that's because i don't want to switch the IMEI registration in At&t's database as i still use my iPhone as my main phone and will not have LTE speeds on the iPhone if i switch the way it's registered in At&t's system. It will definitely work with LTE speeds on At&t's network, i spoke to a rep on the phone, you have to call them and provide them with your IMEI and they will manually add the phone to their database and you will get LTE speeds. The phone is capable of LTE on AT&t, if you check the bands: https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g7_thinq-9115.php , it is 100% compatible with the bands At&t's LTE uses: https://forums.att.com/t5/Phone-Device-Upgrades/What-are-AT-amp-T-s-4G-LTE-bands/td-p/4067288

I live in HK, so unsurprisingly 4g/3g work as intended with the HK model.
(I live in an area with bad reception so I'm using wifi-calling at home).

Security level don't bother me as much as camera drivers updates. I suspect g710n have now much better camera software than international 710emw models, that lag behind in updates

Don't rely the LTE band listed on gsmarena, thier info is not 100% accurate.
Here is an official LG for G710EAW and it doesn't have LTE band for AT&T and T-Mobile
So I currently own the LM-G710EAW (LG G7+/Plus HK/SG Variant). It has two IMEI's, maybe this why the band support is different? Also on the box itself, it list bands 12 and 17 which are AT&T's primary LTE bands (according to Wiki). I just got the phone today, and I didn't get time until this evening to talk to AT&T support. They have put in a request for me, and they have said they will get back to me within 24 hours letting me know how to get LTE working. I would like to note this variant is also on Amazon with two reviews stating they also had trouble setting up LTE, but they did get it resolved. I do believe the phone can be supported on AT&T's LTE network because why would the box label be mislabeled? Here is a picture of the label found on the box: imgur dot com 2Z3ldD5 (I can't post links since I have a new account, but you can follow that typed out) Thank you all for reading. I will update with what information I find out by AT&T. Please do so yourself, too - that is if you figure it out ;) .

So I have just tried a couple different things with AT&T to get this resolved. The first being using the IMEI of my old phone to see if LTE would come through. It did not work. We then added the new IMEI and tried again - still did not work. We tried some custom APN settings - still did not work. The very last thing we did was add my IMEI to AT&T's range of "known" IMEI's - this did not work, either; however, the CS rep said that they could now see my phone as an LTE compatible device on their end, and it was not showing this before. They said to wait 24 hours so the full system can be rebooted/swept, and that it should fetch LTE afterwards. So now we wait boys. I'll keep updating.

It was well known long ago, you can update LG Korean models from everywhere in the world, no restrains, no operator SIM needed.
What is your 710N latest update version and camera soft 7013219 or newer?

What did you do to get LTE to work for you? I am still not getting LTE. I am planning to go to the AT&T store today and see if they can fix it.
