I highly doubt it's 240hz.

Besides, in their 120hz Fluid Announcement they said they raised the sampling rate to 240hz.
"In addition, we’ve raised the touch sampling rate to an industry high of 240 Hz for a more responsive touch experience."

i tested it with app called touch multitest

and touch samples/sec soars to 225 easily
so i guess its 240 Hz

can anyone else confirm via some other source

I got 153 at most

I also tried adb getevent command just like video. touch sampling for me was 153 Hz max while averaging around 140 Hz
weird thing that i noted was that when i try to wake phone up using double tap to wake , Sample rate bumped to thousands (check attachments)

can this be improved by software or this a hardware thing ??

I have tried the multitouch app on 3 phones ,
One plus 7t is 220
Galaxy S20 is 240
Galaxy s8 is 180

So not far off from the S20 120hz panel , that's pretty good
