I am flashing a radio to an MyTouch 1.2 and I get this:

do u have a S-ON on ur fastboot screen?

Yes I do it says:

SAPPHIRE UNKNOWN 32A SHIP S-ON H

Then there is your problem. You need an ENG SPL. I read your sig, it says its bricked. So do you need any further help? Brick is its dead. Softbrick means you just can't load up a rom or anything because you did something silly.

It's more like dead, bricked.

Tried the godcard and I get the Main version is older error.

Any other way to overcome that error?

Since you can try the goldcard, I assume that you're able to access fastboot, so it's most likely a soft brick. I wish I could help but I know little about mytouch 3g 1.2. CursorSense (I think) cryptsmoker, or Binary could help you out but I'd suggest you not bother them. I think they've posted instructions on waht to do and what RUU to use. Take a look at their threads (If you get lucky, Binary might see this thread and help you! He's the most patient of everyone, I think!)

Looking all over for this RUU, tried the 32A one for vodafone and it doesn't work says something about wrong device.

I just home anyone has successfully find a way to unbrick these phones.

A lot of bricks in here lately, and yes I know it's because we flashed the wrong radio and such... hopefully someone find a way to fix this phones.

Question, when you run a RUU does it also flash the radio, recovery and hboot? (not sure what hboot is)
