Green Camera... it's dead. I opened up my prime a while back. Didn't do any mod's, just opened and checked wifi antenna's. Closed it back up. It's worked fine ever since. Then the other day I tried the camera and much to my dismay, I was greeted with the green screen of death. Anyone RMA their prime after having opened it? I also had a little scratch on one corner which I buffed out w/steel wool. It was never dropped, I'm not sure how the corner got damaged, but it wasn't dropped. Maybe when I packed it in a bag or something, but it's always been in a case... It's a mystery... but I'm worried that they'll refuse to Repair it and say that it has been dropped or damaged...

It's Asus, you'll be lucky to get it back with the screen in tact and without a bill starting that because you took your car for an oil change not at a dealership in 1982 your warranty is now void. That said, find my thread on replacing it yourself and hit up eBay for a camera module. Or get a Nexus 10 and post another (well deserved ) FU ASUS thread for your beta hardware.

If there were any tamper detection devices such as stickers that seperate or cover screws or a glue seal etc... that are broken then I wouldnt count on it.

I am unaware of such but it is likely they employ them.
