Using it for three years. Smashed and replaced screen 2 times, replaced battery, port covers, 3.5mm jack, but still using this phone. I will never sell it. Flashed Lineage OS 14.1 and phone is working great!

Using it from past 2 years, currently using xsistenz rom 6.0 . Battery flap is not working, vibrator is also faulty. Other than that runs fine.
It's my day to day phone. Running TWRP 3.1.0, Lineage-14.1. Besides the headphone jack which is well busted, the phone still serves me very well. The battery lasts over a day with moderate use, 1-2 hours display. I've been asked to upgrade but I'm still very happy with the Z. It just works.
Still use this phone for daily use. Charge everyday with 3 or 4 hours web browsing or message.
Stock 5.1 rom, but i'm here to find a new one.

Have used Xperia Z the last couple of years. I handle my phones pretty rough and allways have a backup phone laying around in case i brake it. I buy them new or refurbished from China/Hongkong for $100 incl p&p and run PureX Z Premium v3.0 (Lollipop) rom on them. Cannot see any reason the start usa anorther phone. Battery hold a full day easily for me

Been using for the phone for 2 years now,still using.Have not felt urge to upgrade,everything is working fine,except proximity sensor which broke cause of a fall(disabled it,so no issues).Have the latest OS running,Resurrection Remix 7.1.2.

I've been using the phone since early 2014 and it was perfectly nice. Yesterday my XZ Premium arrived so it's time to say good bye... It's been a great time using the Z, hopefully the new phone is as good.
bought mine in 2015 still using as my best daily driver... currently building a rom marsh mellow , STOCK AOSP , will soon update and upload ... Rom is perfectly working except losing baseband for which i am trying fix hope will gonna do this sunday IA.
this phone is like optimus prime . was out in 2015 still able to run andrid 7 very very easily and smoothly and i believe same will be true for android 8 i hope...but unfortunately , no support from sony ... to official update... sigh ...

I'm using the phone since 2013 December. It worked fine for a while, but after the first Kitkat update I had that overheating and battery drain symptoms that alot of users had. Theese problems had been solved by a clean install (flashing, I guess) using the software, pc companion, made by sony. After the lollipop update more or less the same happened.
It was working right after the installation of the last official android version 5.1.1 for some months but in last fall the phone started to overheat again more and more often. Freezing of the system also appeared and the battery also started having temporary issues: its sate of charge sometimes felt up to 10% in a few seconds. Furthermore, the speaker for calls became unreliable, it sometime stopps workong when I pick up a call or when someone picks up my call.
I have tried to reinstall the os several times with the sony companion but every time I get the problems back (overheating, poor battery life, speaker failour, slow down and freezing). Camera still works fine.
Now, I'm using it with nova launcher because its built-in launcher often crashed with "not enough memory" message.
If someone has faced to such issues as I mentioned and had success with them, please, let me know, how.

Just get a new phone, I'm running lineage os with only Facebook lite for it to work reasonably for daily use. However I can no longer use this for gaming

I adore this phone, and even though I have a blackberry, and my other faithful phone, the lg optimus vu II, I think I'll never totally stop using it, unless it dies on me...which I don't see coming anyway.

still using the phone since release. camera is same as it was battery might lost few minutes of screen on time. running latest official rom with removed bloat.
I have stop app from starting when phones boot... Kept few apps that start when phones boots... Due to which I am get getting another usage ... No ram overload... May be longer battery benefit also.... Other than that I haven't done anything
