Question Anyone tried the ROG 5 with GameSir X2 (2021 version)?

GameSir says the controller supports 173mm. The ROG 5 is 172.8mm, which... really cuts it close.

If anyone who's used the X2 (2021 version) with the ROG 5 can confirm they're compatible, I would appreciate it.

EDIT: To anyone who found this thread in search of finding out whether they are compatible - yes, they are. Obviously the phone will be a little offset because of the USB-C position, but it fits fine.

The older one will have the same connection placement, if that's where you were going with that.

Ah, I've just understood what you meant in your first comment.

I'm aware that the placement will be a little wonky because of the USB C position of the ROG 5.

I just wanted to know if it fits at all, and that there won't be any issue of the controller breaking because it's too tight of a fit.

It may require some modification to work, such as shaving the rubber pads (had already done this for the Note 20 Ultra w/ case). The awkward placement means pressure is focused. That may or may not create issues down the road.
