Anyway to adjust wifi hotspot ports to download/seed torrents?

I was wondering if anyone has had success downloading/reseeding torrents over wifi hotspot?

For some reason I cannot get uTorrent to reseed. A buddy said its because you cannot adjust the outgoing ports like you would on an actual router. Just curious if anyone has gotten this to work and if so, how?
