Anyway to get rid of system update?

Anyone know how to get rid of system update available on the notification? Annoying as heck, hate that basically make you get an update when it should be optional in the first place.

May have helped for future updates but System "Update is Available" is stuck on my notifications bar. Still hit thanks though. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

click on the notification and it will give you the option to "cancel"

You can let the phone download it,,then hit the discard button,,it won't come back then

Ok hit cancel on the notification and then go to system updates>HTC software update>and unchecked scheduled check.
