AOD (always on display)

Can anybody port AOD for j7 2015

Ive added it in the setting but its not working.
It may be kernal problem.

Of course, you need flash kernel with AoD support (I know a man, who is porting this feature)

I'm using Glance Plus and it works pretty well. No need for port IMO. You can tweak it a lot too

How's the battery consumption by Glance .

Does it drain battery.

About 10% more and that's because I have Ok Google on any screen so it put the phone on listening mode
Also I can turn on screen with double tap which is nice

I think what he wants to say is that the app is present like on maxx 's rom but it needs kernel modification to work properly. For me, if i tick the aod on, it hogs the phone and i need to pull the battery out and restart it.

Can you try it without OK Google? I'm curious how much battery it uses. S7 Edge uses about 1.5% with AOD on and about 1% per hour without anything on.

S7 has built-in compatible hardware so it comsumes less battery
