AOD battery drain

I've been using my 3 XL for a few days with A AOD enabled. I've noticed a higher battery drain than most seem to have. At night (7:30 hours), for example, phone uses 7% without it and 17% with it, which seems to much. I still have to test it further but, what is your experience?

Those numbers seem high. I believe the AOD is supposed to be about 1% per hour. I think you'd need to do some more specific testing with the phone in airplane mode an no apps installed/running in order to get a true test.

Well, I personally get a 8-10% drain overnight as well with AOD on. I always see something around 91, 92, etc. when I wake up. This is for an 8 hour sleep> yeah I sleep for 8 hours.
And then, without AOD, man the phone is a beast when it comes to sleeping and stand by time. Just 1-2% drain in 8 hours.

The AOD on the Pixel 3 XL uses more battery than it did on my 2 XL. It needs more battery optimizations or something.
