I went ahead and flashed. That was less fun than I wanted today. I had to do a full flash-all to both slots to get rid of the mess of the slots. I ended up using the c3 build that Google posted yesterday. Just a heads up if anyone does the same. You cannot use the patched boot included with this ROM. You will need to install MM, and patch the boot from c3. I am up and installed/rooted. Now to set everything back up. Thanks for getting this out there @slothdabski.

Did you flash the magisk patched image right away or did you flash it at the end?

Most of the time I'm unable to get into fastbootd to flash the system and product images if I flashed the magisk patch boot image.

This can be avoided by flashing the regular unpatched boot.img when doing the first step of flashing boot, vbmeta, and dtbo.
Once you reboot into fastbootd to flash system and product, you can then flash the magisk patched boot img and everything should work.

Someone please tag me if this procedure is followed and you are still having issues with the magisk patched image

Do you use TiBa? I couldn't get it to recognize root. Everything else was working great. It was really frustrating. I was def rooted though. My other rooted apps were functioning without issue.

I have it installed but haven't launched it yet. I just pulled everything that I needed from my library, so I wasn't going to try a TiBa restore. I'll get it booted soon.

I ended up just flashing stock boot.img from the c3 build to both slots after getting the error that their was not a valid boot when attempting final reboot. After using unpatched boot and patching with MM, all was fine.

No. You first need to flash 10/q factory image. And twrp hasn't been updated to work with 10 yet so flashing via fastboot is the only option for now. Once a new twrp is released I can post zips to flash like was done on pie

You don't need to flash q factory image if you're already are on q/10.

If you want to go back to pie you can always flash pie factory image

I was on pie stock and now I still on AOSiP pie

Well, here's my list so far...

Systemless AdAway (with systemless hosts of course) aplying failed on all host targets and is not requesting root privilages
SafetyNet failing both
TiBa not requesting root and then claims fails to acquire on launch
One App that was working on stock 10 not working (myHyundai). I have to hide that one with Magisk Hide. That seems to be working or it would give that error. Instead it just spinds after entering logon info.
One good thing is that the one app I couldn't make work on Havoc (Sprouts Grocery) works fine on here.

BusyBox is running, and there are no denials of root showing in Magisk with 10 granted and working so far. Magisk and MM both show up to date on canary channel.
This will be a short lived experiment with no TiBa or AdAway.

Yeah, without an initial su request from the app it doesn't show up. Neither TiBa or AdAway ever sent a request. I am about to install factory again.

It works fine for me on Android 10.

All of the issues I listed earlier (and there may have been more but I gave up on this AOSiP build for now) are resolved after a clean c3 image and root. That include TiBa. I have backed up and did a couple of restores of pre-10 backups with and without data.
