Any idea why I can't get this to boot? I am on a Huawei Mate SE BND-L34 running stock Oreo. I was on build 8.0.0.330 and running an OpenKirin ROM just fine. I upgraded to the latest firmware 8.0.0.361 as I wanted face unlock and a few other things fixed(bluetooth issue) Since then, I can not get any Treble ROM to boot. I have tried all the OpenKirin Omni versions. I have tried this ROM and LOS. I do a factory reset through the stock recovery. I then flash the new system img. Then I boot into the stock recovery and factory reset again(just like to start new ROMs in a clean state) When I boot I am stuck on the "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" splash screen. I would love to get rid of all the Huawei bloat and get back to Pie as well. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, one more quick thing. Device is A only and I am downloading arm64-aonly-gapps-su.img for the ROM

Dear phhusson!

Fist of all, thank you for your hard and amazing work! Without it I couldn't use my chinese phone, the way I wanted. I just wanted to ask, if you finished developing PIE releases or can we expect more coming soon?

Thank you again!

Is their a fix for In call sound for Samsung j4core? Everything is working except the in call sound. I can't hear the person on the other end of the call and they can't hear me too.

Flashed successfully!
But... I have a message,

Android System
There is an internal problem with your device.
Contact your manufacturer for details.

And... small icons, small fonts. I suppose this could be solved via configuration

Same here, Huawei Mate 10 Lite, I was on v119, tried v123,
did not boot,
AOSP 10 no go,
tried to flash back to 119, no go
I'm on OmniROM Pie Alpha 6.2 right now.

I have pretty much given up on my Huawei devices. As good as my Mate 9 was, it died a horrible death and can't get an unlock code for a new one. I have gone to the dark side and have a Oneplus 6T on the way

Xiaomi Redmi 9S/Pro (curtana)?

Anyone using this on a Xiaomi Redmi 9S/Pro (curtana)? Can you please tell how well it's working? Any bugs? How' s stability, performance and battery life?

I can see it's 'theoretically' working, but would like to hear it from someone with direct experience.

(Background: I have a Note 7 and it was impossible to get phhusson's GSI to work on it (had to settle for a much worse ROM), and now I'm considering buying the Note 9, I don't want to go down the same path again).

Latest build fixed hotspot and UI font blurring without workaround on Huawei P9. Also ROM is buttery smooth and performant. Works out of the box and big thanks!

One thing though, audio doesn't route manually to headphones on hi3650 once they're connected and I have to use an app to force route it. The 'force headset switch' toggle in phh options has no effect. Also it seems to get a bit hot on idle but probably it is due to Google Play doing stupid stuff.

EDIT: Heat issue fixed. Turns out the ADB daemon was hogging all the CPU for itself and keeping the phone at constant 99% usage. Now it's ridiculously smooth while also being cool!!! Battery life is excellent now. Avoid USB debugging with this ROM haha. Now for my work I will just do it in TWRP since it does not heat up there, and I need root access anyway

Device Alldocube M5XS [Helios X27 tablet, 3GB RAM, 32 BG ROM]
flashed and booted AOSP 9.0 v119 with following bugs.
1) battery is not charging in fully booted state OR fully off state, but only in TWRP
2) cannot enable/ approve USB debugging (adb devices always gives unauthorized, despite deleting keys from .android directory in the computer)

I had these same problems. Did you solve them? If yes, how?? Thanks in advance.

WARNING: You'll most probably loose ALL your data, and might break your phone. Please use with extreme caution!

The goal of this ROM is to provide maximum hardware compatibility inside a Generic System Image.
No feature will be added. This will ease forward porting to new Android versions, which is the very goal of Project Treble :)

My hope is that other ROM developers will use this ROM as a basis to construct more advanced ROM.

    How to flash:
    Follow instructions available at https://www.xda-developers.com/flash-generic-system-image-project-treble-device/

    What doesn't work:
    - NFC on some devices
    - Front camera on Razer Phone
    - Stock AOSP camera app on some devices. Please use OpenCamera app
    - many graphic glitches on Moto E5

    What works:
    - Pretty much everything else

    Tested devices:
    - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Exynos
    - OnePlus 6
    - Blackview A20
    - Koolnee Rainbow
    - Cubot X18 Plus
    - Pixel 2 XL (running Android 8.1 vendor)
    - Lenovo Moto E5
    - Allview V3 Viper
    - Razer phone
    - Huawei View 10
    - Huawei Mate 9

This is an experimentation, this means that I'm mostly interested in bugreports.
But, I don't want too many reports, so please:
    - If you use a community Treble, ASK YOUR TREBLE DEV FIRST (then they can come ask me here)
    - I want bugs only about hardware features, not software bugs
    - A bug without a device name doesn't exist
    - A bug without a log doesn't exist

    Downloads are available at https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/releases/tag/v119

Been using it for more than 24hrs on a Razer Phone. Battery seems slightly better than in stock MR1, cameras do work except for the frontal one. Everything else, excluding the exceptions mentioned in OP, works perfectly, snappy and at full 120hz.

This is some daily driver material
