Sure, it's already supported for Samsung devices, there is an option in the treble settings for that.

If you want it for other device (but you don't say what device you have, so I can't know), open an issue at https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/issues and I'll see what I can do.

I dont have a Github account unfortunately. But will make one in the future. I have the Lenovo z5, and your treble rom works great on it. Just in sun light its a little problem to seea display, thats why i asked. Thankyou anyway.

I have two main issues but i don't know exactly if it's hardware or just software.

The first one is the System UI crashes. Sometimes i cannot open apps, do screenshots, anything. The only way I can get it working again is rebooting the device. This happens in every treble rom that i've installed before too.

The second one is the low quality when watching netflix since Widevine is L3 I guess, and I don't know if there is a way to enable L1.

Everything else seems to work fine. Is anyone having the same issue or know a possible cause of System UI lags and crashes? Thanks in advance.

Running v114 arm-a (aljeter)

Flashed on Redmi 6A (Gapps+SU)
So far, still the cleanest GSI rom i've tested (Of course it's AOSP)

What don't work and some minus/bugs maybe :
- Phone Calls.
- VoLTE not tested
- It's taking f*cking long time to boot maybe like 10-20 minutes.
*Edit : Flashed Stock MIUI 10.3.3.0 OCBMIXM vendor.img and it's now booted just fine

Flashing Steps I did :
- Stock MIUI 10.3.3.0 *CMIIW
- Factory Reset (Format Dalvik, Data, Cache)
- Flash AOSP GSI
- Bootloop
- Flashed Magisk Patched Boot.img
- Booted fine

Can't provide any logs for now.
Sorry for my bad english

Hi, i've installed on Galaxy M20 SM-M205M, it runs fine but exist two problems:

-The Equalizer don't work well, it sounds very low and if i volumen up, it is listened much distorted in the horn and earphones.

-The MTP don't work too, I've already tried everything and there's no way to fix it by my own means.

These 2 problems I have with all ROMs GSI for this phone

GAPPs variant without SU?

Hi all.
This ROM is great! I've managed to flash the gapps+su variant onto a Doogee BL9000 (which has essentially 0 dev. support).
The only thing that doesn't seem to work is voLTE (mobile data drops to 3G when on a call); the call quality still sounds fine to me though!

Is it possible to have a GAPPs variant without SU? The root is getting detected by my banking app.
There is no TWRP release for the BL9000 so I'm unable to flash GAPPs with the AOSP vanilla variant.

you may try install root explorer and then delete "su" binary from system (idk in details how to do this)

Moto X4 (Andriod One) XT1900-1 (payton)

Cannot get to boot. Which unfortunately does not generate any logs either (It's frustrating to me too).

Tried a full fresh flash after a full data wipe and updating firmware, no joy.
Tried to install this over another rom, no joy.
Tried with and without TWRP install, no joy.

Hello! Tried and tested on a Doogee BL9000 and it's working great!
All core phone features work (calls, texts, data) except for voLTE; IMS status is not registered at all times (it does show as registered on stock). I looked around XDA, this thread and the wider internet but I've been unable to find any decent, generic instructions for enabling voLTE (if it can be enabled at all). Most instructions either only seem to work for a single person or are very very phone specific (and most thread posters still complain that a particular fix doesn't work).
Is there any tried and tested method (or even a decent set of hints) for enabling voLTE?

On a positive note, this AOSP android 9 GSI is absolutely amazing. So much better than the stock firmware shipped with the doogee and so easy to install! This is really really amazing work.

Hi! I have a Blackview BV9500 and I've been trying to change the rom because it has android 8.1 and I can't setting the APN, so my phone doesn't connect to mobile data. I've tried everithing, but I think I'm doing something wrong, because nothing works. I put the "system-arm64-ab-gapps-su" in my sd card, then I enter to TWRP, wipe factory reset, wipe data, cache, etc., and then install image. I choose the image and the system ask me for the partition (i have a list), so I choose System Image partition. The image was installed, but when I reboot, the system enters in TWRP over and over. I tried also with fastboot, and the same... Please help! I don't know to do now, I don't want to come back to the stock rom, because it doesn't work to me (for the apn settings). THANKS A LOT!

I just installed it in my Xiaomi Mi 9T/Redmi K20.

Popup camera doesn't work and pops out after every reboot, and has to be controlled with commands.

Also, I have to turn on the screen to use the on-screen fingerprint.

Everything else works, at least, what I use.

you can try this for the meantime, it has preliminary support for k20/pro while newer commits are merged yet https://xdaforums.com/project-trebl...-ab-how-to-t3908029/post79692957#post79692957

WARNING: You'll most probably loose ALL your data, and might break your phone. Please use with extreme caution!

The goal of this ROM is to provide maximum hardware compatibility inside a Generic System Image.
No feature will be added. This will ease forward porting to new Android versions, which is the very goal of Project Treble :)

My hope is that other ROM developers will use this ROM as a basis to construct more advanced ROM.

    How to flash:
    Follow instructions available at https://www.xda-developers.com/flash-generic-system-image-project-treble-device/

    What doesn't work:
    - NFC on some devices
    - Front camera on Razer Phone
    - Stock AOSP camera app on some devices. Please use OpenCamera app
    - many graphic glitches on Moto E5

    What works:
    - Pretty much everything else

    Tested devices:
    - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Exynos
    - OnePlus 6
    - Blackview A20
    - Koolnee Rainbow
    - Cubot X18 Plus
    - Pixel 2 XL (running Android 8.1 vendor)
    - Lenovo Moto E5
    - Allview V3 Viper
    - Razer phone
    - Huawei View 10
    - Huawei Mate 9

This is an experimentation, this means that I'm mostly interested in bugreports.
But, I don't want too many reports, so please:
    - If you use a community Treble, ASK YOUR TREBLE DEV FIRST (then they can come ask me here)
    - I want bugs only about hardware features, not software bugs
    - A bug without a device name doesn't exist
    - A bug without a log doesn't exist

    Downloads are available at https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/releases/tag/v119

Been using it for more than 24hrs on a Razer Phone. Battery seems slightly better than in stock MR1, cameras do work except for the frontal one. Everything else, excluding the exceptions mentioned in OP, works perfectly, snappy and at full 120hz.

This is some daily driver material
