Here is some batterylife results from today. Using the latest version of this ROM and the qe version of alucard's kernel. Kernel settings are default except the hotplugging is on MSM MPDECISION.

Didn't play any games, just used Facebook, Instagram, browser and Tapatalk and watched couple of videos. Wifi was on all the time except at night. So this was on moderate use, but I still think 7 and half hours of screen-on-time is pretty amazing! Thank you Jamal for this awesome ROM and keep up the good work!

I know I have to say that I was watching TV and using my phone at the same time, so instead of actually using the phone it was lying next to me screen on for about 2 hours of those 7 and half with the screen on

Hi... when i switch off the wifi after some seconds it comes back on by itself.... does anyone have this problem?

FC on reboot

Everytime I restart or turn on my cell phone I get a FC as seen on the image.
After hitting OK, no more FC and cell phone works great.

Has anyone gone into this?

Hi guys,

Two questions:

1) When I chose front camera, it froze and the phone shut down. After that it hung on the Samsung logo and didn't work at all. I had tot reinstall the ROM. Is this a known issue? I don't want to try to reproduce it right now

2) I like base Android a lot, but I miss Samsungs calendar and keyboard. Is it possible to just add these apk's from the xxufna1/5 to the zip file, or will this not work?

How come i can't use the program ADB wifi anymore? i've always used this program (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ttxapps.wifiadb&hl=en)

But since i've been using the Google ROM edition this doesn't seem to work anymore.. (or is it because of Kitkat?)

Am i the only one? can't seem to find anything about it.

And with Ktoonsez how can you flash Ktweaker via TWRP?

I tried to flash latest Ktoonsez kernel and it forced odin mode as couldn't boot normal...

Returning device to stock and installing again, any advice as to which kernel is better for battery life in latest ROM build?

You have to try yourself which one works better for you. For some it's kt for some It's Alu.
Ktweaker will be installed automatically if you flash kt kernel. Take the newest version from his thread and you won't have problems.

Ok ... install latest "qa" kernel then
1) Open stweaks
2) Move on "CPU-HOTPLUGGING(AWAKE)
3) Choose "MSM MPDECISION" from "CPU HOTPLUGGING" option.
4) Click on Apply.
5) Click on "Push Tuning to cpu hotplugging core".
6) Close STweaks, test it 

This is what alucard said some time ago when one user told him about performance issues. I don't know if it really makes a difference, but now I got 28,2k on antutu instead of 25-27k. I try to change it back to alucard hotplugging and run antutu a few times to see what are the results.

I assume that "KT-SGS4-KK4.4-TWGE-ATT-01.17.2014" is the right kernel I should be flashing for this ROM and kt right?

If I just choose KT on aroma then ktweaker isn't installed?

No it's not the right version if you don't have a AT&T phone. You need to flash the international version which you will find in the corresponding thread in i9505 Android original development section.
You don't have to wonder that it doesn't work if you flash a kernel for another phone.

@jamal2367 task maanger very "hard"....i play music (google play music) and swipe task manager and turn off music and i use viper4android fx and swipe
