Whatever one I need. I've got the i9505 international version. i've got baseband i9505xxuemk8

http://d-h.st/f4V <-- XXUFNA1, I have this, its a 4.4.2 modem works great. You have to make the file form .rar to .tar to flash it with odin.

Download winrar and find the .rar file with win rar and the choose extract to and the file should be .tar

Did you flash the modem 2 times with a reboot straight to download mode between?

Then contact the shazam developers, it's an incompatibility issue with kitkat, not a rom problem.

This is the second time in one week. After a usual reboot the phone won't boot anymore but remains stuck at boot animation. Reflashing ROM or kernel doesn't fix the issue. Only restoring a system backup. Now how do you explain that?

Apparently, the alucard kernel is doing it, so you should flash the newest one instead to prevent it since the one included in the rom is older.

That said, I've not tried the newest alucard kernel, I'm now using the kt kernel included with the rom instead and haven't had the issue ever since.

Hows the RAM usage in this ROM.. Mine is always over 80%(1.5GB)..only a few user apps are running.. Any suggestions??

Ram usage is high in every rom, always has been, that's how android works.

I installed this rom and updated my modem to FNA5, but lost sound. I have now tried about 5 different modems (FNA1, XXUEML6, XXUEMKE, XXUEMK8) but still have no sound.

Any idea what caused this and how to rectify it?

All I know is I had the same issue almost straight away, and was told the alucard kernel was to blame. I'm now using the kt kernel and it's been spot on ever since.

Does anyone know why service mode was disabled on kitkat Roms? I have to flash an old zip from 4.2 but if I switch to art the dialer breaks.

I'd imagine that you've also flashed the FNA5 LTE modem and you're still on the old bootloader. If that's the case then you need to flash the XXUBMH1 LTE modem. Go to the modems thread in the General section and flash the XXUBMH1 Wi-Fi fix (LTE Modem). That should bring back sound.
