Has any one had phone issues on the 15th 4.2.2? I can revive calls but if I click on the phone too dial a call, if says the apk isn't installed. I have pulled another apk out and pushed if and fixed permissions, reboot to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik then fix permissions there and reboot. Any ideas?

Well I flashed Notta's 15th post and all seems well. Except, the hardware buttons don't work. I have to look around to see if they need to be enabled. Also when I flashed the inverted gapps, they don't look inverted, lol. Is there a trick to any of this?

Look under the hardware buttons options. I will post the inverted parket that has to be flashed after the gapps. But if you look into the gapps package there not that many apps that are in there. What all do u want thats inverted? I will put togeather a package for ya in a bit. Hmm hardware buttons worked for me off the git go.

Edit: inverted playstore zip HERE

because of new security changes/updates the inverted playstore has to be flashed after the initial gapps package is flashed...reboot and go into recovery and flash inverted playstorw zip

Straight Talk SCH-S950C

I am new to these Forums, and fairly new to the Android Community.... I didn't own an Android Device until a few months ago.... I know... kind of sad right?

Anyway, I have jumped in deep in a short period of time because I have been modding Computer Operating Systems since the beginning of time.... well, computer time anyway... back in the 80's before Windows arrived..... So it was only natural for me to want to Mod my Android as soon as I got it.

First... I wanted to say Great Job to all of you for the outstanding work on this ROM. I am quite impressed.

For the record, I have successfully installed this onto my Straight Talk Samsung Showcase SCH-S950C which is running on Verizon's Towers. Had a few minor glitches installing.... I kept getting "Android Keyboard has stopped responding", however I was able to fix that by Fixing File Permissions in CWM....... Other than that it is running smoothly so far and I am enjoying it quite a bit.

The next project is to correct the settings so that it shows SCH-S950C for the model instead of SCH-I500 and to set the Carrier Name to Straight Talk instead of Verizon.... these are purely Cosmetic because I am a perfectionist....

I only have one glitch I have not been able to figure out that I was wondering if anyone might have some ideas..... For some reason.... and this is not a problem with this ROM.... as this happens to me on ALL ROMS aside from the stock image.... When I receive an MMS Message.... I do not get a notification. If I open my Messaging App the message will be there, and it will download correctly, I am also able to send with no issues. I simply do not get a notification of a new message.

Regular SMS Notifications work fine. On the Stock ROM both notifications work properly. I have tried messing with APN settings, but have had no luck and I have verified that everywhere there is an option for displaying notifications is enabled. It is a minor annoyance, but it frustrates me that I can't figure it out...... I might also add that I can only get MMS to work over 3G.... it will not download or send MMS over WiFi. Which is why I thought it might be something in the APN Settings.

Any help is appreciated... and once again... thanks for all the great work.

You can change verizen to straight talk by using root exslorer to edit build prop and pretty much anythibg with verizen in it change to straight talk and for the model number why would you change it? What's wrong with the i500 its proud to be a i500 don't take that away lol and as for the MMS notifications I recommend go sms

That is normal because the pic is sent through your 3g data plan

Thank you.... I will work on editing the Build Prop to match my Carrier.

As for the MMS Notifications.... I neglected to mention that I am running Go SMS. Neither it or the default MMS App notify me of a new MMS message. The message retrieves just fine, just don't get the notification. Very odd, but at least it's useable.

Sorry, I didn't really say it properly in my original post..... I understand that it uses 3G to send and receive MMS.... however if I have WiFi Enabled, MMS doesn't work. I have to completely disable WiFi to get MMS to send or receive. I am just confused as to why that is. :D
