Thanks a bunch for that recommendation! I lied...lol.
I loaded the module, rebooted, module is enabled, but I don't see Notch Killer in Dev options/Display Cutout.
However upon testing, there is a new option "Double display cutout" which seems to enable it for everything which works fine for me!

Was just going to download an older version when I saw that you had updated with the may patch. Thanks @killcmd ?

If it wasn't clear in my previous post, I'd recommend this ROM to most anyone.. Its got lots of features and seems very stable.

Is this ROM permissive?

---------- Post added at 03:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:00 AM ----------

Is this ROM permissive? Anyone run it enforced and have issues?
It's Permissive but I've never had a reason lately to run it enforcing so I'm not sure if it will cause problems. I would say setting to enforcing is probably fine though.

Always My Favorite ROM

Tried stock rooted, AOSiP, Liquid, and Resurrection Remix, and all were great. But I keep coming back to AOXP, both on this phone and my Axon 7. It's always rock solid, everything works, and it has good customization options. Thanks, devs!
