It will update.....can't stop Google from updating Playstore as far as I know.

I've been having problems with both Play Store and Google Play store Services. Finally found this thread and another with links to both, got them installed, and Play Store worked ONCE, and then crashed; and continues to do so. I'm about to set this phone on fire, I'm so mad... >_<

Anyone have any ideas? I've tried everything except a factory reset (don't want to lose data and such).

Any help is appreciated.

Anyone also having black app backgrounds in the latest play store? Even with the auto-update of the Play Store, all app icons inside the Play Store app now have a dark background if they don't fit the whole icon space.

For the ones who need a official place to get apps, try samsungapps.com, it will direct you to Samsung´s own website where you can install the android app. And start getting apps.

3Rd alternative is Amazon.com apps.... they give a free app every day! :victory:

For now this app does not work..perhaps I will pull the APK from my other phone....

For some reason after updating apps are not working and Google play store won't load it's stuck saying retry. Any ideas?
