Flickering in 50Hz lighting

@HomerSp

Great work on the app BSG v2.0.0 (2019-09-30). I'm using Lineage 16 (20200103 build).

One oddity i noticed is that in parts of the world where lights are 50Hz rather than 60Hz, the app captures flickers. My guess is the app is set to capture at 60Hz. Some apps will detect the flickering and automatically switch to 50Hz. Alternatively, can you enable an option for us to choose the frequency to capture (e.g. 1080p @ 50Hz, 1080p @ 60Hz)?

EDIT: BSG v1.3.2 (2019-04-11) would sense the flickering and then automatically switch to 50Hz. Although it has greater shutter lag in normal and portrait modes, the color post-processing is much better. By comparison night mode results in less noisy and much more usable post processing photos.

BSG's MGC_6.2.030_RazerPhone2_V5.apk doesn't work anymore :(

BSG's MGC_6.2.030_RazerPhone2_V5.apk used to work wonderfully on my Razer Phone 1. But now it doesn't work properly. Night mode isn't working that well. App crashes on slowmo. Also, the camera sometimes just stops responding. I press the shutter icon but nothing happens. I often have to do a full reboot just to make the gcam working again.

Also, the main hurdle is that the front camera doesn't show any sign of being processed by Google camera HDR+. It just looks like taking a pic with the default camera of the RP 1. It just takes photos and does not apply HDR.

@HomerSp

I'm on Lineage 17.1 (20200410) (Android 10) and installed Google Camera 7.2 for the Pixel phones from the XDA Google Camera Port Hub.

All rear camera functions appear to work great (e.g. zero shutter lag portrait mode, night mode, etc). I haven't tried Astro photography yet (requires a Magisk module) but there is great potential for this. However, all of the selfie camera functions don't work. Is this something you can help port?
