Moto action apk is not working in g5 plus

Hey guys,

I've been digging through the Moto apps from the X4 to see how much is compatible with my Z, and to my surprise the Moto Display APK works perfectly and upgrade the Z's to that of the Z2 series, complete with the option to reply without unlocking the screen. No root needed, just install like any other APK. Thought I'd share. Enjoy! :good:

It shows the notifications but doesn't works

First of all thank you very much for the apk!
I've tried the apk it works fine and far better than the older version, but if i try to pause the music or skip the music nothing works.... Even i cannot reply to the messages from outside....
I've checked that the notification access permission is not granted.
So i tried to switch it on but it keeps disabling by it self..... Please help

Moto Display stopped working on Moto X Style

Hi,

I tried this new App from the Moto X4 on my Stock Nougat Moto X Style, I didn´t really like the new version and removed it. Now it appears that Moto Display has stopped working altoghether. I shows as switched on, but is off and does not respond.

I even did a factory reset and that did not help either.....

Any thoughts?

Moto Mods

Something that I've noticed with this one is that it doesn't support properly the Moto mods (ex. JBL SoundBoost in portrait mode and play controls)

That's too bad. I bought the phone yesterday, brought it back for a refund today. Had great potential and it was probably great for it's time. But it's not a good phone in 2018.

They both don't install on MM. Probably are Nougat+ only apks...

Moto Actions WON'T install on Droid Turbo 2 (7.0) and Moto Display doesn't work well (slide to unlock only SWITCHES OFF SCREEN instead of unlocking).

None work on Moto E⁴ Plus or C Plus (MTK6737 variants).

In other words, 7.1 and above, plus a Qualcomm SoC ONLY NEED APPLY.

how to uninstall them?

For non -root users, download FX file explorer as it can dig even more more directories inside system then any other app when you are non-rooted

Jt head towards /System/priv-apps Here you can find factory Installation backup of almost every of your pre installed apps. Select the Moto Display folder and Open that folder. You will file original APK. Install that factory APK one to replace other. And boom
