I didnt get you.
My bootloader is unlocked anyway
Can you make a camera mod for the xperia Z5 series too?
for z5 series, u have to use lucky patcher to disable signature verification and then replace the original SEMCCameraUI.apk
anywhy, buckup your system first

should disabled signature verfication, otherwise it won't run

and if u are using MM, try this:
Version 2.0 (from Z2_MM_486_Bata): Google Drive
Signature verification is disabled.
Gives me parse error when I try to install that directly.
When I try to replace it in priv app and reboot, the camera app doesn't show up.
Reverted back to original as of now.

Edit: Running MM on z5 premium

For my Z1 I first cleared "Camera" and "Cameras" data then booted into TWR recovery and replaced the camera app with updated version and set 644 permission in recovery filemanager. Make sure camera apk is renamed to original name.

I also dont have signature verification disabled and all works as it should.

The MM version, comes up with a parse error. I think there's a problem with apk. I re downloaded it twice.

For me this camera works too without any issues.

1. I clear all data of camera in settings
2. Boot recovery, flash Z5 Libs, framwork etc
3. Boot into system and delete camera app with root explorer from /system
4. Then paste there this camera apk and set rw-r-r permission.
5. Reboot

And it works like a charm...
