If you adapt the mod to straight talk, let me know. I'd like to flash it on my droid mini on AT&T.
I haven't been able to figure it out actually, sorry. Motorola did something really weird with the software on the Droid devices—instead of a nice clean update to white-themed KitKat, they had to leave the blue of previous Android versions along with the ugly custom carrier signal icons

I liked the look of the launcher, but unfortunately had to go back to stock. The extra row at the top that was behind the search bar was livable, but the bottom row overlapping the slide indicator was just too much for me (only noticeable when widgets were placed on bottom row). Not that noticeable, but with the two things together, it was just too much for my OCD! Great job, though, really wish the rows lined up better.

I used twrp, mount system, then copy files through command prompt. Ended up going back to stock, though (see previous post), so make sure you make a backup of the originals just in case.

Doesn't work. UI is gone with the new apk. I switch back to the old one and all is fine again...
Strange. That method worked fine for me. Rename the apk and odex, copy new apk, set permissions, reboot.

Did you rename the odex and set permissions on the new apk?

the file structure of the image framework files in system ui doesnt change after an update so it doesnt have to be updated, the images go to the same slot. so this thread and mine are currently working even after the newest update.
This replaces the entire sysui apk not just images. I am aware they would be "working" however they are not the same as the current systemui.apk found in the update. And unless you've gone through the entire apk you can't be sure that the only thing changed are images.
