APN settings for Cricket Wireless?

Good morning folks. I am experiencing trouble sending/receiving MMS. I have tried all the APN settings I have come across and never had them pushed to my device when it was activated. I do not recall always having such difficulty, tho I do remember that some peoples MMS would not come through, while others would. Recently, I have realized that I cannot send or receive any messages. I am using FireKat currently. Think if I reflashed to stock and did the setup process the way cricket describes, I would have the settings pushed? Thanks for your time.

settings from cricket wireless page

Device Requirements

Your device must be unlocked.
You've finished the activation process and inserted your Cricket SIM into your device.

Android Configuration

You should get new Cricket settings automatically pushed to your device after you insert the Cricket SIM, but if for some reason you need the Manual Configuration instructions (also called APN settings) they are listed below.

Tap*Settings > Mobile Networks (or Mobile Data) > Access Point Names > New APN*(may have to tap Menu button to see this option).
Enter the following APN info:
Name: Internet
APN: ndo
Proxy: Not Set
Port: Not Set
Username: Not Set
Password: Not Set
Server: Not Set
MMSC: mmsc.aiowireless.net "add http : // "
MMS Proxy: proxy.aiowireless.net
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 150
Authentication type: Not Set
APN type: default,mms,fota,hipri,supl
Note: on the above APN type be sure to enter it exactly as it is listed& don't include any spaces!
Tap*Save*for the new APN.
Go back one screen to the APN list and tap the dot to enable this APN.
Reboot the device.Test data and MMS.

On our phone you tap settings , connections tab, more networks , mobile networks, Access point names , then tap the + symbol in the upper right corner to add a new APN.

The apn type line is most likely where your errors are but check all the lines of your custom apn for typos.

I was told at"walmart" by a unhelpful salesman that a at&t go phone zte z998 wouldn't send mms on straight talk and it was the apn type line that was the problem not the phone. The problem was just poor documentation. Cricket wireless web page was no better so I cleaned it up for you. Several of the lines were run together on their webpage so you probably have errors in your apn

As far as cricket pushing the correct apn to your phone don't hold your breath. If that was going to work it would have already done so.

Go over your apn again find the typo's correct them and it should all work.

Good luck

dlradlt, thanks!! I'll try these again, tho I have tried then previously. I have an AT&T Phone APN that is not able to be deleted. However, that isn't working for me. Think it has anything to do with the ROM?

I doubt its the rom.
Cricket wireless uses at&t so it should work fine. If you're able to make phone calls then it's probably the apn because your already on the network.

Do you still need the APNs? I use cricket on my N3 and sending, receiving, and data works.

I use cricket and these are the ones I found on their website, but did not work for me on any device. I finally got sick of losing them every time I flash a new ROM so wrote them down and they are for sure different than these. Also there are 2 separate APNs. One is not selected but needs to be on there or MMS doesn't work.

Will you please post the APN you have my mms just stopped working out of no where. When I first put the Sim in I got a text for the auto apn configuration but now I only have the one shown on the website which doesn't work. I remember there being 2 like you say. Will you please post ASAP I need them today

Here you go. The first 2 is the one that is to be selected, the second is needed for mms.
