Hi VPAfan,
With regard to your question "show the manila ContactPage instead of the OutlookPage". I have it set on my phone omnia i900 running 23518 M2DV custom ROM from OCK on Modaco.
The only difference is that I use omnia lite contacts rather then manila contacts instead of outlook. Initially I did not count on using it with manila birthday. However now, MB works with omnia lite contact page. OCK cabed the solution for replacing outlook with omnia lite contacts. The integration of this fix through out entire UI is pretty deep. I had a hard time finding how to access outlook contacts in case I need it. There are some issues (as usual), I can not edit birthday info in omnia lite contacts unless I place the contact on M2Dv peoples tab first, then it opens up manilas contact page and let me edit whatever I want. Anyway, here is the cab I told you about. If you have any questions, I think it is better to ask OCK personaly.

I installed M-B in my omnia 2, but even if i put the reminder on (one day b4) nothing happens .
Luckily it is my daughters birthday tomorrow, date i wouldnt forget ever
Is there a bug, or have i to install another program to remind reminder that there's some job to do?

Hi omni8000,
you have to activate the reminder in the settings and after that you have to create calendar entries.

My steps...

Menu
Category filter active checked
no category checked

Menu
calendar entries>select all
make entries reccuring

Menu
settings
Reminder On, Reminder settings at time lets say 16:22:00 5 mins from now
days before 1 checked.
Repeat untill dismiss checked
flash green LED checked
vibrate checked.

and ...quit.

The entries are now in my default calendar.
I click on one to see details:
31 august
Bday.Daughters name (??./then icon of a bell, two arrows, text/1997)
All day task
It happens: every month (that will be a disaster, i cannot afford present every month )
Remind: 562 minutes
Free
Normal
Category: ManilBirthday

It;s 16:25, no reminder occured

A window pops up at the hour i selected saying :

Bday. Daughter's name (??./ 1997)
All day task, Tomorrow

I didn't receive any sound, not any vibration occured and as u saw ?? instead of the age and still "it happens every month, im the calendar).

Any suggestion?

Why that? If you do so you don't see any entry in the Birthday view.
You have to check at least one category.

You have to activate Sound and vibration in the systems settings.

If you make recurring entries there will be no age because the age is next year different.If you want to see the age you have to make non recurring entries.
Also you can go to Settings /Calendar Entry-Birthday Subject and define your custom subject.

1.I unchecked both (activate filter, no category)
Strange thing, when I check only activate filter, I am seeing nothin in birthdays anniversaries.
When i check activate and no category or uncheck both i see them all
When i check only no category i see them too.
I was just experimenting with this, to see (listen to be exact) if i get any sound.

I have every sound and vibration enabled, I still don' t get neither sound nor vibration
Just the pop up window
My appointments from the calendar, always make the sound i want and vibration.

Right, now I have the age in the pop up window .

The only idea I have, is to have look at the standard Windows Mobile Settings.

thanks for the new version 2.8.0. It is working without any issue on my phone (signature).
This is a very handy software. Never forget the important days .
My own birtday, the birtday of my best friend, ...
All of them in my contacts, because i use also the FBTab from meltwater.
Facebook needs also contacts for a better control.
Not all the, i can edit here and here and here sh...t.
