Hi,

Release 1.31 is now available.

Backup your channel.xml before installing, and copy it back to the OnTV folder when installation is complete. If this is your first install, after installation copy the channels.xml which is in the zip file to your OnTV folder!! This is for this version only, in the next version your channel.xml should not be removed upon uninstalling.

OnTV is an application that brings you todays tv schedule right into your Windows Mobile device. It will show you listings for a number of channels of your choice, as well as information about each tv show! To make sure you don't miss that important fotball game or tonights exciting movie, you can add a reminder about the show into the calender by the push of a button!

OnTV uses any existing internet connection to download the listing. To avoid downloading to much data, it downloads each channel only once you click on it to watch the listing. So a little wait might be apparent before the tvshows pops up on the screen, depending on how fast your connection is.

OnTV is available in VGA and WVGA

It do require .net CF 3.5!

What's new in OnTV v1.31
-----------------------------------
-Fix for bug that caused OnTV to crash when to many channels loaded.
-Up to 100 channels can now be added.
-Fix for bug causing OnTV to crash when clicking a show button in the "Now & Next" section, after a failed download.
-Added a block to run OnTV in the unsupported landscape mode.
-A few small tweaks

What's new in OnTV v1.30
-----------------------------------
- New scrollable lists for channels and listings
- No more cut-off listings.
- You can now define what channels you want present
- "Now and Next" function to get an easy overview of what's on right now
- The date on the topbar is now replaced with a "Monday 02 Nov." type instead.
- You can now change day while watching a days listing, no need to go back to the channel page.
- Channel icon in the info page
- One cab for both VGA and WVGA
- Probably a few other things I can't think of right now =)

Hope you enjoy this new release!!!

Finally, If you like this software please send a few bucks my way to support an unemployed xda developer =)

Tja!

What about Turkish TV lists ??

Hi,

OnTV will download tv listings for swedish channels. It will also download information about a tv show that is on the listing. At this time only a few channels are available but I will add more on request if you like this software.

OnTV uses any existing internet connection to download the listing. To aviod downloading to much data, it downloads each channel only once you click on it to watch the listing. So a little wait might be apparent before the tvshows pops up on the screen, depending on how fast your connection is.

OnTV is only available in VGA at this stage, but I might build to other resolutions later on if enough people requests it!

Very nice porgramme. I am looking a similar one for the Turkish TV Channels, which I could not find it yet :(

I am not a professional programmer. I understand a little :)

I will ask you two thinks. I think your programme is getting this items from an internet web page. I find a wesb site for the Turkish Channels which is
http://tv.ekolay.net/kanalliste.aspx
(When you click the TV Icons, it will open the details of this channel programmes)

My questions are ;
1- Can you prepare or adapt your great software to Turkish Channels?
2- or could you please share your programme sources, so I can try to do myself?

Many thanks for your answer

Sjukt bra jobb, Sonny!

Det vore schysst mot folket som inte har VGA-mobiler om du utökade support för fler upplösningar (jag har dock VGA)! :D

Lycka till,

Gustaf

Hi,

Glad that you like my software!

I looked at the webpage containing the turkish tv channels and I think it will be quite hard to extract the information from that page. The swedish page that I'm extracting the data from has a mobile site which has so much less information on it, which makes it so much easier. This is an example of one of the pages.. http://m.tv.nu/?k=cnn
If you could find a site that has a mobile version with the tv listings it I might be able to guide you in the right direction or make a turkish version of this software!

Tack så mycket!

Har börjat kolla på att göra en WVGA version för t.ex Xperia o liknande mobiler!

I've found what might be a good source for UK channels to be used in my software. What are the ~20 most common channels in the UK that one would most likely want to see in a software like this?
