I've created this thread for a friend of mine "Jonathan" as he's developed an app for WP7. He has also ported it over to the Android and is currently working on the same for WM6.5! It's a Magic app that is pretty cool. Check it out and if you have an Android phone or WP7 emulator, be sure to load it up and try to find out how it works. Send your guess's to him if you think you know his tricks. Have fun! Thanks again Jonathan. See below..

I developed the app on windows phone 7. The Android app is the same as the WP7.

Here is the video below.

Now the android version is on android market as a free app. It's now v2.0, and tested well on 2.1 & 2.2. Not sure about 1.6 & 2.0, but seems can't work on 1.5. The secret of the trick is hidden inside the app, maybe you can guess by yourself how the trick works or try to find the solution somewhere in the app.

Hope you guys will like it and wish you have fun! Thanks!

i guess he is using the capabilties of the microphone to record what cards they are mentioning, since they are saying what cards they have.

I thought so too, but he specifically mentions he's not using a microphone (or actually, he says he uses only the emulator / mouse).

I think it has to do with where you click on the screen:
If you divide the screen into 4 columns (hearts diamonds spades clubs) and 13 rows (1-10, J Q K) you have a 'roster' on which you can click the correct card.

Note that he doesn't click straight away, he first moves the mouse for a few seconds (which looks to be pretty precise)

The place where I click on the screen really matters. But devide it into so many parts is hard for me to control. :)

Maybe the video is not very clear about all the things, you can check some screenshots here.
