I guessed wrongly.I can't find these items in the settings. Where exactly should I look for please?
I disabled the two options, but not much has changed. It takes too long to load.I guessed wrongly.
Main Menu -> View -> Options
I'm working from the assumption that your settings changed when you updated Mixplorer. It's also possible something is doing a more thorough job now.
You could take logs for the older version and for the new slow version and share them (both) here, so that the developer could check them.Hi, I have a samsung Pie rom. I noticed that the app is really slow to load the home screens, like SDCard. It takes 6 or 7 seconds! an eternity when you are in a hurry or you have to enter several times. I tried an old version and it is much faster, even in less than 1 second it opens everything! Why all this difference? Can anything be done? Thanks
it doesn't make me attach the log files to the xda app.You could take logs for the older version and for the new slow version and share them (both) here, so that the developer could check them.
yes, the new app...
I tried with 2 browsers always the same problem. Only photos I can attach. I have to try from the pc.yes, the new app...
Can you try it to upload with a browser?
For me, especially on my mobile device, the browser is much faster as the app (and should normally provide full functionality including upload)
I am trying from the pc, I cannot upload the txt files. I attach a photo of how they look just attached and before sending.I tried with 2 browsers always the same problem. Only photos I can attach. I have to try from the pc.

It's a system issue. They're not scanned by MiXplorer.@HootanParsa

Can you please configure the media libraries on the Sidebar to NOT scan/ display files from folders that have .nomedia file in them.
The libraries are also listing files from the Android/ data folder on my device running on Android 8.0. Please fix this.
I'm using the latest builds (Stable 6.50.1 & Beta 6.51.0).
Thanks.
EDIT: I see that the media libraries ignore/ exclude hidden folders (whose name start with a dot) and the files contained within such folders.
It may not always be practical to hide a particular folder. So recognising a .nomedia file for the purpose of excluding folders from scanning (and hiding the contents of such folders) becomes important.
No idea. Sorry.@HootanParsa I am still not able to use the built in download option for me versions of the app. I always get download unsuccessful. Any idea?
Hi, thanks. Aren't the notifications working? What is the automation system init?Hello, all i can say is your application is the best file managers out there, ive managed to cut down on my storage thanks to this app, since i have like 7 apps dedicated to cloudhosting, thanks to this im able to put them all in one place.
Well id like to suggest a feature, perhaps a MIX addon that give the user a widget that allows them to view current file operations especially for file operations that takes alot of time such as downloading files, and also interact with the automation system init.
There is another option for it: 'Sort by icon'. I should rename it to 'Change the order by icon' I think. Edit: Or 'Rearrange by icon' as @IronTechmonkey suggested.@HootanParsa
Is the left drawer option "Editable" only for allowing users to change bookmark names or it should also unlock the drawer items to be dragged up and down by icon for changing position order?
Actually unchecking "Editable" options let always the drag and drop operation enabled. Is this the correct behaviour? I remember there was an option to lock the drawer also for preventing drag and drop. Am I wrong or "Editable" option is supposed to work in this way now, without affecting the items drag and drop?
Thank you. Try the latest beta.Hello, @HootanParsa @IronTechmonkey
I am using KeePassDX app and some of my entries have attachments files (.zips, .pngs etc). Whenever I try to save (export) these files to my device with MiXplorer, the format of the files change to .a and the application type: application/octet-stream. When I click on this, it redirect me and open the KeepassDX app.
With stock file manager is working fine. I've reported it to the github issues of KeePassDX, dev told me it's MiXplorer related and it's seems to be the behavior of MiXplorer that allows you to differentiate between files uploaded by their content provider.
I don't know if this is a bug or intended to work like that but I am unable to export those files in the original format with MiXplorer. Is there any option I should disable or something?
MiXplorer Log and Screenshot with issue attached.
Thanks in advance.
Hi, it happens when you use an app which doesn't register the new files in Android media store. If you rename them with MiXplorer, it will send a command to system.Hi,
"All Files" ignore some Files such as from Download Folder.
I've sorted by date, newest on top.
I'm using latest Version on Samsung Galaxy S7, Android 10, Rooted.
What am I doing wrong?
Greetings
Are you saying that it is the system that is ignoring .nomedia in folders?
Yes. It's your system issue. Android media scanner is ignoring them. Are you saying that it is the system that is ignoring .nomedia in folders?
On Android 8, I see plenty of short videos from gaming apps (stored in Android/ data folder) showing up in the video library on sidebar.
These things are not happening in other file managers which too have a library section.
Ok guys, thanks. I'm feeling lazy to search and read rn
Help me be my search engine one more time, any other recommended root file manager for a14?
Hello and good morning, @ledagiwMy guy, my savior. Thanks

Xda search is junk, can't search if not login (i browse on incognito), timeline is messed up
Also i didn't mean to offend anyone, since the burger isn't available
It's irrelevant why you don't want to follow the rules but if you don't it will eventually lead to consequences to your account. I'm convinced this is something you want to avoid.1. Search before posting.

The project is far from dead. HootanParsa regularly takes extended breaks from XDA, months at a time sometimes, but is brilliant with catching up with feature requests/bugs/etc. when they return. For the extent at which most users will use MiXplorer, everything still works great. Obviously there may be some niche issues and the odd request here and there but everything works more than fine, for the most partLooks like the project is dead.
I was about to buy it (support the project) untill I read when the last update was released.
Your post is no. #43,838. That's a strong indicator for the passion and long standing development and support from the developer - despite some breaks in between. You'll have difficulties to find another app having a longer history than MiXplorer. And of course, I cannot speak for the developer, but I'm quite sure, there will be updates in the future. So there are good reasons to support the developer now and in the future.Looks like the project is dead.

I've already replied to this exact post but doing so again, just for context.Looks like the project is dead.

You said "use an alternative" in your post.
Is there any possibility to open a different viewing app out of MiXExplorer instead of ImageViewer which would allow swiping through the whole folder?
If I click "open with" and choose Google Photos for example only the one picture opened opens in Google Photos and I cannot swipe through the whole folder like I can in ImageViewer.
