first of all you are wrong...news from today showed that Samsung lied to us..S22 Ultra goes only to 24Hz as the rest of the S line...they even changed the specs slides....another thing, LTPO 2 and S22 line go to lower refresh rate much faster...S21 ultra takes around 3 seconds till it drops to 60Hz

i install galaxy max hz on samsung s22+ showcase phone
Have seen below 48HZ

The refresh rate stuck at 120hz when brightness is low. It's good to add an option to enable 60hz when brightness is low. I didn't notice any difference between 120hz and 60hz on low light conditions.
Sorry my English bad

Adaptive refresh rate can still work with minimum brightness. Galaxy max Hz has the option to keep adaptive when the brightness is at its lowest, maybe the owner of this app can add this option too. 👍

Could this app implement the amount of time it takes to switch from 120 to 60? Galaxy max Hz I think can be 1 second. Please add option for this 👏👍
I have tried some things but android doesn't allow tracking activity globally. So implementing 1sec might be hard.

Also it doesn't make sense to switch refresh rates so fast does it?
I mean if you are scrolling, then suddenly switching from 120 to 60/48 as you lift your finger up will make the scrolling animation 60 even before it stops scrolling. Half of most the animations will be 60hz.

Also I'm waiting for the next one ui update to see if they unlock some other refresh rates

First of all, you are wrong, it's been noted numerous times in different threads and by Anandtech that the S21U can go down to 10hz but it isn't measured by the inbuilt Refresh Rate monitor in developer options, I suspect its the same for the S22U.

Secondly although the LPTO 2 tech allows the S22U to drop faster it doesn't impact the VRR which is (lowest) 1hz for S22U and 10hz for S21U.

Good day.

This isn't working for my s22. Is this because it's running a newer os version or it's not the s21 ultra?

I own S21 Ultra...I just received february update...I restarted my phone and 120Hz on power saving doesn't work anymore...I reinstalled app...no tiles work for me ...none of them showed up in notification panel nor as an option to add a new one ..I had to download older version and install tile only...showed up immediately..app is useless..doesn't work properly...for me it doesn't work at all

Is there a way we can use the shizuku app (wireless adb) to run the adb code, for those of us that are way to mobile and don't have instant access to a PC every time we reboot our phones.

For my S22:

1. 96hz doesn't work. Goes to 60hz if selected.
2. Adaptive in power saving mode works, but minimum is always 60hz, not 24hz. Out of power saving, 24hz works.
3. Option to pick 24hz as minimum isn't there. There needs to be option to pick as low as 10hz if possible.

    Code:
adb shell pm grant com.nss.ssettings android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

    Introduction

Switched from OnePlus 6t to S21 Ultra Recently.
I wanted to create a personal app which provides the quick settings needed for daily usage.
Other apps are not optimized for S21 ultra specifically, either crash regularly
I just created this app in 3-4 days, so I'm just gonna leave this here for others to test and use.
This has turned from a small app which was created in few days to months of work, adding features

    Future Plans

    Fixing Bugs
    Add some more features
Improvement / Bug reports are Appreciated
Add a refresh rate monitoring notification Done

Status: Currently, I'm half way done with the new app,

This is how its looking currently:
    * You will be able download new updates to QST straight from the app in play store
    * Lowest Hz on screen off - Its working properly, no extra battery drain (You might need to exclude this from memory cleaner, and set unrestricted background use or 48hz screen off will just not work)

    * Ill roll out the beta soon on PlayStore within few days. Just need to fix theme and add some text paragraphs to make the app understandable before finalizing release.

Can you add option to set lowest Hz when locked?
48hz while display is off. Yes please. Galaxy max Hz has this option but I'd rather just use this app so they don't conflict each other.
Hey mate. When i restart my phone i need to reinstall the app and run the adb setup again. Is this a bug?
Thanks in advance hope you make a "pro" Version with more Features for such app would pay :)

I have just now implemented the 48Hz when screen is off. Its working fine(in the video below), just need to test it for a while before i release it.

Hmm a pro version maybe , it would be much easier if playstore acceped old api's.
Im thinking about an updater app on playstore you can download QST from that app. (This might take a while since im gonna be busy for 2 weeks)

I'm on BUKG, it's working for me and others as well. Just try to restart and follow the steps, I'll release a video guide soon.

If we could get powersaving and 120hz that would be awesome!
Added the option to change and enable Adaptive Refresh rate on Power Saving Mode. :)
