AW: [App][2.1] AntTek Quick Settings - bring Jelly Bean Quick Setting to Android 2.1+

wow, seems pretty nice and fluid! after a quick first look i'd like to make some suggestions..
1. I'm not able to enable more than 5 rows of toggles, on big screens like the SIII has this would be cool ;)
2. it's difficult to adjust the activation area because it doesn't show for example a bar in shape of the area while customizing - this would make it much easier!
3. Please add an option for custom icons/backgrounds to choose from the gallery (long-press on toggle - change icon)
4. same for the toggle names! im german (sorry for my English btw) and some translations aren't exactly how I'd like them. also if we add custom apps/contacts the names can be irritating or cut of :)

that's it for now, thank you for this amazing piece to make our phones even more productive, good looking and personal!!

adnote to point 1. I can do this on rom where I can change DPI of screen, but of course it will be usefull to have a chance to choose.

My opinion:
- toggle of 'screen timeout' doesn't work properly. Icon of this toggle is always active and if I've clicked on them I don't know if some happend or not, becouse I don't see any message on screen about the change of 'screen timeout' settings.
- 'autosync' and 'WIFI' icon of toggle is always ACTIVE, regardless on that I've sync turned off. What more, wifi toggle show a medium level of signal, but I have turned off the wifi ...

My idea:
- if you can add a longpress shortcuts on toggle of settings, for example: on "WiFi' icon to by longpress go to wifi settings.
- option to do not close the quick settings list after 1 click on some toggle.

My question is about what You mean under this question in poll : "Do you want more than one quick setting panel?" ??? I don't understand it properly.

By the way, thanks for awesome app which one help me in android 4.0.4 looks like JB :) congratulations for idea and skill and good luck in programming!

You properly should change the action size (open app from launcher > overflow menu > change action size) to add more rows & columns. Screenshot below is done on Sky A820 with 4.7" of screen size.
2013-03-20%2008.06.52.png

2. it's difficult to adjust the activation area because it doesn't show for example a bar in shape of the area while customizing - this would make it much easier!

You can modify it! Just open app > overflow menu > Change panel dropdown. You will see a red bar on top which is corresponding to where you touch to pull the quick setting panel.

3. Please add an option for custom icons/backgrounds to choose from the gallery (long-press on toggle - change icon)

We plan to add it in the incoming versions. Further, more addon themes also release soon

4. same for the toggle names! im german (sorry for my English btw) and some translations aren't exactly how I'd like them. also if we add custom apps/contacts the names can be irritating or cut of :)
We plan to support multiple languages. Stay tuned

It's somekind of pager in the quick setting panel or different panel when you pull from different place in your screen (say you pull in the middle of the status bar, the setting panel will show, if you pull in the right of the status bar, the favorite apps panel will show). Does it make sense?

thats what I did, but without dpi modification the limit was 5 columns.. :) I set the dpi for quick settings panel to 200dpi and now it works flawlessly ;)

You can modify it! Just open app > overflow menu > Change panel dropdown. You will see a red bar on top which is corresponding to where you touch to pull the quick setting panel.
don't ask me why but this red bar disappeared every time I clicked on change panel dropdown.. tried it again today and - had no problem at all. seems like this one was however my fault :crying:

    Nice app.
Are you planning to add: Reboot , recovery etc.and perhaps a sound menu wher you can adjust sound for multimedia, notifications, etc.
    Good work

We will add reboot/power menu soon. Media keys (back, next, stop, pause, play) are already added (check it out in the "other" tab when you pick an action)

Hi, I am loving the quick settings, I missed them after coming from custom roms back to stock.

I have paid for the Pro version, all works other than custom theme which will not apply itself, any advice for fixing this?

My setup is as per my signature, cheers!
