[APP 2.1+] Root Call Blocker - [PRE BETA SIGNUP NOW ACTIVE]

SMS blocker is finally working on my evo running froyo.

Couple suggestions:

1. Long pressing a blocked text and selecting call causes my phone to lag and eventually the dialer force closes. The call is never made.

2. I dont know if this is the current behavior because of the above FC but when calling out from rcb can we make sure it doesn't display in the call log?

3. Can the sms blocking be expanded to basically be a private inbox where the messages are threaded and we can privately replay. See the easy filter app for a good example of this.

4. I dont know if mms are blocked but if they are can they be captured in this private inbox as well?

Awesome progress btw, the only app i missed from windows mobile was magicall and this is becoming an excellent replacement

At the moment root call blocker is a call blocker, not a private messaging app. I have considered releasing these kind s of features as plugins after the beta ends.

The lastest donate version seems to break my default camera app on i9100 once I approve the permission in super user. Can u verify it?

And it seems to crash LBE privacy guard for all the version of root call blocker i tried

Hi mate, please send us some logs using the "Write to developer" item in the Settings menu. Without logs, the can be no help...

Also, i cant replicate your error because i dont have a galaxy s 2.

In any case, you should not have both versions of the blocker installed. Uninstall one, then use the other.

Just send. LBE privacy guard is not a call blocker, it's application permission manager. I already notice that developers as well and hopes to comes up with a solution.

I can not send/receive SMS with this app installed/enabled. I've tried stock SMS app, Go SMS Pro and Handscent and none will send nor receive SMS. I've got the app setup in blacklist mode w/ only 1 number being blocked. I even took that number out so there are literally no numbers being blocked and it doesn't fix anything. I use Titanium Pro to "freeze" the app and reboot the phone and all is well again.

2- If the application can support rules priority that would also be awesome.

Another suggestion, in the received SMS list use the name of the blocked contact in place of his/her phone number.

Very inconsistent with Samsung Galaxy-S Series phone. (Epic, on Sprint)
On one call, alt-rej hangs up after one ring, and calling phone disconnects.
On next call, with same handsets, alt-rej hangs up after one ring, but leaves calling phone connected. On third call, its anybodys guess?

All reject methods either send to voice mail, even "don't answer", or otherwise do not properly hang up on the calling phone. The other handset is silent, but seconds are still ticking off on it, as if it is still connected to network. No problem to receiving phone, in that there is no ring... but from one call to the next, with identical settings and handsets testing, sometimes behavior changes or reject method is ineffective.

If you need some help with this Samsung Epic, let me know.

These troubles are caused by your network. The replies available to android are limited and well-defined. What the network (if you have google voice or any other routing for example) does is nothing to do with the app.

Second, I know this app is for blocking, but would you ever consider adding the ability to override the devices current sound profile as well? For example, if I have my device set to silent and a number I have defined calls, I want my device to ring. The only reason I'm asking is that this seems to kinda go hand in hand with what you are already doing. Other than that though, I really like the interface design of this and will be purchasing the donated version.

Thanks for the heads up. But please use the "Write to developer" item in the Settings menu - dont forget to describe the problem just as you did right now...

I dont understand - you want it to ring but block?
