It's not a bug, so maybe I'm not in the right place here : do you plan to set the price in Euros ?
I'm in France, and when buying in another currency, my bank always charge at least 1€ !

I prefer to give money to developers rather than to my bank :)

Btw, great app!

I want aware this could be done. As far as I know, you can only set a price in other currencies in select territories, none of which are Russia. I might be wrong though, ill look into it.

Thank you for making us that tested it for long time have a limited version :)

I really loved the program.

I bet youre one of the people who wrote reviews like "Worked perfectly when it was free. 1 star."

Just to put you in your place, heres a little statistic - 50-60000 xda members downloaded my Screenshot ER app from here for free. 39 of them said "Thanks".

Because I don't get a lot of call from these types of numbers, at least not frequent enough to do any real testing, and I do not want to end up with a bug that actually blocks legit calls like some of the posters have mentioned.

You can still do lots of testing. Use skype to call yourself for example. Also, dont forget that "Only one ITEM is allowed per profile" - this means you can add any item in the Add numbers dialog, giving you the full scope of the app to play with.

I route my unanswered calls to GVoice on a rooted EVO 4G. All the block methods still drop the caller to GVoice. Any way to prevent that? Apologize if this has been answered already, too many pages to read through!

ive stopped using this app and now using extreme call blocker, would rather pay for that as its much more feature orientated

the only good thing about root call blocker was it was free,
then you had to go fu** that up,

I've used EBC and RCB.. rbc works better without having to stick to certain ringtones.. the gimme gimme attitude makes me giggle.

RCB is much much better thn any available call blocker in market, as i am using call blocker since 5 yrs, n almost every app i have tried in symbian as well android.
Ofcourse RCB still behind Interactive call manager available for symbian. but we cant compare b'coz it is due to limitation of android itself. If we find price is factor we shudn't atleast use bad words for application, price which decided by developer is value of his work wat he shud feel appropriate, even i was one of fellow who oppose, wen developer gave idea abt monthly charge. But price of 2.49$ does it matter wen it gives u peace of mind?

Just my two cents

I've been using this for a while now (I'm still on beta).
Have to say this is the one really and fully working I've found among the many I've tried.
I've been searching for an app working this way over the years, a over the OS I've had (symbian, WM, ...).
This is perfect.

Just a couple of suggestion (my two cents):
- take a number to add to black/white-list from SMS log (could be useful for example to add service-sms to whitelist)
- have the possibility to store sms in a place to choose

Hi,
after last update 00 issue fixed here in USA.
I'll do a test also when I'll came back to Italy.

I would like to give a couple of suggestion for new feature:

- A widget to Enable/Disable Call Blocker
- A different color of the icon in Notification bar is Call Blocker is enabled or not. For Example Green mean not Enabled, Red mean Enabled

After this 2 item i think RCB will be perfect

Many Thank

Marco

I was wondering if there was any way that a custom message could come up telling the caller that they need to unblock their number, instead of taking the call directly to voicemail. I have browsed through some of the posts and I do see many requests for the call not to go directly to voicemail. If a custom greeting could come up telling callers that they need to unblock their number, I think that would be a great feature to add. Thanks.

Ok, have we fixed the voicemail issues? Also, are you not able to receive SMS?

thank you for your great work specially the don't answer function , I have some suggestion:

1- Adding "Contact Group" Block method would be great

2- If the application can support rules priority that would also be awesome.
3-as mentioned above adding some private sms solution would also be great

any updates for this dude?

Next week you shall have SMS replies, vibration, block from caller id screen and contact groups.

Tomorrow we will be releasing a test update with a totally rewritten daemon, this is a stability update. New features are the easy part - getting stuff to work across 400 different devices is not so easy.

Rrrrr. Everything takes time. There are three of us working on it and the features currently available have taken us 2 months. Make an estimate.

    Piss off.

And everyone else: if you have a problem, replicate it and send logs through the app. larryatapproved has the right idea.

I did what larryatapproved did twice in the last 2 weeks and still haven't gotten back to. To be perfectly honest if your app was a dollar I could understand (a little) your attitude. But it wasn't a dollar it was around 6 (I believe). With a higher priced app like yours I would have expected a better sense of customer service. I have been polite and inquisitive in all of my inquiries to you. And in return have not been given the same level of respect.

I have downloaded free apps that resulted in outstanding customer service. Sendit being one of them from xda. If I were to make an app that costs 6 bucks. And had people working for me (like you say you do). I would bend over backwards to help a customer in a very calm and professional manor. Constructive criticism from buyers is not a bad thing , but rather a form of respect. They want to see the app work. Which is why they are asking you questions. If you weren't willing to accept that, you should have do one of two things. Either.
    A) make your app free. The you wouldn't feel obligated to respond.
    B) write in your app description that every problem is user error. Cause nothing could possibly be wrong on your end.

Hell, Google makes apps. They get negative reviews. Do you see them snapping at people? And there's are free. Not everything is formulated to work on the vast majority of android phones. But take pride in your work and look into the problems. They're are two sides to a developer. Obviously one is the developmental side. And the other is people skills. Don't you realize that we are your testers? You have 3 s3's you said right? We're the ones with HTC, Motorola, LG, Samsung, and all the sub variants of them.

A little nicer approach instead of "piss off" would be greatly appreciated.

Re: [APP 2.1+] Root Call Blocker - the fastest call blocker on Android

    Here is what happened..

    1. Read thread title and OP
    2. Liked the app, downloaded free version
    3. While app is being installed, read last few pages of the thread
    4. Un-installed app without running it even once

What a pathetic response from the developer, been looking around for a call blocking app but certainly won't be using this one with attitudes like that

Hello random troll guy in my ignore list. We have 2 s3 handsets running the latest available european stock jb and everything works fine.

I'm not the only JB user experiencing signal loss (if you actually read the Play Store reviews, which you obviously don't). Most of the complaints seem to be coming from Motorola Droid Razr users (Maxx and M). Whenever you decide to stop ignoring Motorola users, let us know. An S3 is not a Motorola phone... in case you were confused.

I'm adding Google Play review screenshots below that support my claims of loss of radio signal when running Root Call Blocker due to the rude nature of the developer claiming somehow that by inquiring about a possible fix for my faulty app I am "trolling". I'm simply hoping for a fix. Again, great app when it's working, and absolutely terrible customer service. These are just the first few pages of reviews which support my claims that many users are experiencing the same issue. Loss of radio signal.

The problem is real. If you don't care to fix your app, just say you don't care. If you do care, stop playing make believe.
